This was sadly the last stop of my recent Oregon trip, it was a nice way to go out though, we got here around 7 pm and stayed for an hour or so, we walked through the bottle shop and ordered a beer first, Drake and I both ordered a Hopworks Noggin Floggin Bourbon Barrel Barleywine and it was fantastic, less than five dollars too, wish I could get a beer of this caliber for that price back home, sat at the bar for a while and looked over their fifteen or so taps, some other selections at the time were Pliny the Elder, Bear Republic the Grizz, New Belgium La Folie, and some other nice locals, cool little bar area and the best part is you can walk around the store with beer in hand, so we took advantage of that and did some browsing in the store, they had a great selection of bottles and tons of Oregon beers I had never even heard of, I wish I could have bought some stuff, especially some Hopworks, Heater Allen, Cascade, Lompoc, Pike, and Rogue, just hard when traveling and have no idea where to buy shippers or where a FedEx is, they do not sell styro boxes beware, nice selection of glassware, some Belgian ones that I have never seen before, really wanted to leave with a lot of beer but could not, this place was a serious tease in that respect, they had the best selection I saw while in Portland and yes some of their prices were high in the store, but the draft beers were inexpensive and that cancels things out in my book, I will certainly go back here next time I am up here, recommended

Not real sure how you could say something negative about this place. Visited here from Georgia over the summer. Absolutely ridiculous selection. The best part was grabbing a pint from the bar and then just wandering around in the tiny store looking at all the beer. Staff was friendly and super knowledgeable. Went here five times in seven days while in Portland. Great spot to grab a pint or to pick up some of the best beers from the northwest.

This place is out near older suburbs. The draft selection is excellent, the bar and seating area are decent, and the bottle selection is outstanding. During our visit we picked up a few bottles of rare Apothecary brews. I will definitely visit this establishment again when we come down to visit Portland.
