Pours the darkest brown you can get before hitting black. Nice mocha head. Aromas are of chocolate, chocolate, and um....a bit more chocolate. It’s crazy. On the palate it has a semi-creamy mouthfeel, and there is once again an overwhelming predominance of chocolate. There is a mild hint of burnt malts on the swallow, and some definite booziness comes out eventually. Also getting the same taste as those chocolate caramels I used to have as a kid. Overall, a great beer by these guys, but they should package it in smaller bottles. I drank the entire 750ml myself in one sitting over a few hours, and the sweetness definitely wore me down.

$14.99 750ml poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass.

Appearance: Aggressive pour gave a fluffy, brown, three finger head with a lot of lacing left behind. Absolutely gorgeous. Pitch black in the glass. (5/5)

Smell: Major chocolate. They weren't kidding. Chocolate Frosty sort of aroma is huge on this beer. Coffee/roasty notes are there as well, but this basically is all about the chocolate. Insane. (4.75/5)

Taste/feel: The texture is like chocolate milk -- maybe a little LESS heavy. I am shocked at the drinkability of this, actually, as it's not as thick as I thought it would be. Carbonation is about moderate. The taste of this beer is absolutely unique for me. Just loads of all sorts of varieties of chocolate, with a roast finish that adds some much needed bitterness. I was told it tasted sort of like a Wendy's Frosty, and it actually does a little bit. A little freaky. Super delicious. The alcohol is absolutely nowhere at all in this beer. I get no warmth at all, and zero flavor. Phenomenal. As it warms, the booze comes out a little bit more, and the beer becomes a bit of a different, albeit equally delicious, animal. (4.5/5, 4/5)

My sole knock on this beer is probably the feel. It could use a little more thickness, but overall, this is a ridiculous milk stout. Loads of chocolate, and the alcohol is hidden flawlessly. Definitely a 750ml for two or more though, as the beer quickly becomes rich. I can normally drink one myself without much issue, but with this one, it'll take me awhile. Damn is it delicious, but it's like dessert.

An excellent triple milk chocolate. Pours dark black with light tan head with light tightly beaded lacing.. Smell of toffee, coffee, and rich chocolate. Taste is very nice with toffee and fudge, light coffee bitterness, with a slight butterscotch taste as it warms. Rich and desirable. Big smack your mamma sweet chocolate on the front aided by milk sugars, light bitterness of dark chocolate on the back. A beast of a beer, one of the best milk stouts I have ever had. I will seek out more beers from this brewery and would definitely purchase a second time. Not for the novice stout drinker. Being a stout lover, especially chocolate stouts, this is an A+ in my book.
