A: Your typical Bellevue supermarket, a bit upscale since it is in Bellevue.

Q: The beers I purchased here were alL good. No complaints on quality, all refrigerated for the most part

S: Typical supermarket service. Not bad but of course their was no dedicated beer guy to answer questions one might have

S: Very nice. A nice little Belgian selection that anyone would appreciate. As far as the American selection goes..well it is pretty damn good: FW XV amd Sucaba, RR selections, Lost Abbey Deliverance, Serpents Stout...plenty more.

A nice location for these guys just east of the heart of downtown Bellevue. Fairly large beer selection, local to regional to national to international selection, a small selection of singles as well as packs. A decent wine and spirits department too. Prices are little on the high end but on par with most other finer groceries in the area. Store itself is very clean and most items are really well stocked.

Great variety of pre-made foods, and the whole nine, with plenty of seating to eat a nice lunch/dinner etc. Massive produce section both organic and otherwise. The staff was friendly enough.

As with most of their locations, parking is at a premium, so better to hit early morning or after rush hour traffic in the afternoon.

I dropped by the Whole Foods in Bellevue today since I happened to be in town. I had heard here that they have a pretty good selection and I wasn't disappointed.

They have a large wall with a pretty big number of local breweries represented: Pacific Northwest especially but also a wide selection from the West Coast in general. That said, they had a few bottles of Unibroue Eau Benite which I've never seen before in the Seattle area.

Quality is excellent for a grocery store, although it is not quite up to bar with a specialty beer store. One aspect I liked about the store is that they carried basically nothing in the way of macro national brands; their concentration really is on quality micros.

Service is what you would expect in a grocery store; they might have a beer steward but he or she wasn't there while I was shopping.

This place was nothing short of exceptional. The layout was very organized and the selection was outstanding. Firestone Walker, Pizza Port, Stone and many others. They also have a great selection of Northwest micros as well just across the aisle from the regular beer section.

I bought 7 bombers and not one was over $6.99 which I thought was very reasonable in this day and age.

I would highly recommend this to anyone going to Seattle that is looking for a great beer selection at a very reasonable price.

Came here a a couple times during the week I spent in Washington.

This is a typical Whole Foods: organic and eco-friendly high-priced groceries. I knew, however, that it would have a good beer selection. Being from out of town, I didn't know of any local/independent stores that carry lots of craft brew, but I knew I could count on whole foods.

I must say the beer area was hard to find. It's at nearly the farthest distance possible from the store from the entrance. The beer is split up into 3 sections and they aren't extremely close to eachother, so it looks like they carry less than what is actually there. Most of it is refridgerated but there were several cases stacked outside of the refridgerated area.

I was blown away by the selection. Plenty of American craft as well as a decent selection of imports, including several gueuze/lambics. I was excited to find Hair of the Dog here, as they do not distibute in my home state. I just wish I had more luggage space to bring more of it home. They were also selling fresh growlers of an IPA from a local brewery whose name escapes me. They got the stone belgian releases a couple weeks faster than in AZ.

There were no employees walking around near the beer area to answer questions about anything. Eventually I got tired of waiting/hoping for somebody to make the rounds, I asked one of the guys working in food booth closeby about whether or not they had a "beer guy". It turns out, the guy in the food booth was very knowledgeable about beer releases and answered all my questions.

Surprisingly they don't sell glassware here unless you are looking for a standard wine glass.

The Bellevue Whole Foods was a pretty typical Washington Whole Foods to me. They have a solid selection of local beers, others from the US and enough of the big ones from Europe. The selection included beers from solid breweries such as Stone, Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, Russian River and Port Brewing.

Though I find the Whole Foods food prices are pretty high, their beer prices seem pretty reasonable. One of my only frustrations with Whole Foods is that they often have displays throughout the market that aren't necessarily represented in the beer section. So you have to be careful to look around so you don't miss anything.

While they may not have the service you'd get at a local bottle shop, this is a reliable and convenient option. And they have some great food to go with it (especially the cheeses).

The best selection on the "Eastside" (for those not familiar with the Seattle area, Seattle is the "Westside" and Bellevue is the "Eastside" - The Westside is known for relatively higher ratios of culture [beer culture included] and public parks filled with drug needles and human feces - the Eastside is known for relatively higher ratios of computer software companies and perfectly pristine public parks).

Excellent selection of American craft and quality European beers - better than Top Foods and QFC, which are good - for supermarkets. I was at Top Foods the other day searching for Maritime Pacific Jolly Roger Christmas Ale, not finding it and wondering if I was going insane ("Did I buy it HERE, or somewhere else???"), then I learned from the Top Foods "Beer Guy" that they only had an allotment of 10 cases!!!

I put on my thinking tuke and realized that Whole Foods MUST have some of this luscious winter nectar...sure enough, they had several cases. Every time I go there I am greeted by a welcoming beer staffer who is more than happy to point me towards the mundane, the arcane and the fabulous.

I've been feverishly trying just about any seasonal beer I can get my greedy palate on and the variety at Whole Foods, to abuse the cliche, makes me feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

Normaly I don't go to Whole Foods. Whole Paycheck is a common derogatory name for this place. 6 bucks for a average size turkey sandwich? However, if you're going to go to a grocery store to buy your beer Whole Foods should be at the top of the list (Larry's Market and Thrfitway round out my top 3). They have a wide selection of beers from all over the world. They should have something to please everyone. The staff is quite knowledgeable as well which is a nice change of pace from most grocery stores where the extent of the beer knowledge is Bud is on your left and Coors is on your right. If you have one nearby you might want to stop in to see what they have. I've found quite a few beers I had never heard of before but now enjoy.

Hand's down the best place on the eastside to buy beer. Hell, it's the only place, that doesn't mean they're slacking off. I counted 352 selections, and about 27 Beeradvocate top 100 tags. Staff is pretty knowledgeable and prices are hard to beat. Northwest beers are especially well represented - Snipes, La Conner, Boundary Bay, Elysian, Farwest... it's all here, along with a great selection of belgians. I'll be making fewer trips to Bottlewerks, that's for sure. Gotta love a grocery store that doesn't carry Bud.
