Sampled at the Bon Accord, Glasgow

Pours a nice rich golden yellow with a beautiful head which stays and stays and leaves a nice wall of foam down the glass. A little sweet malt in the nose combined with some fruitiness but there isn't a whole lot there. Strong grapefruity hops up front which continue throughout. There is some malt backing it up but the grapefruity notes dominate right through to the finish. Smooth and moderately heavy mouthfeel. A drinkable session beer. Not too aggressive on the grapefruit notes (I've had some where you'd expect to be picking bits of grapefruit out of your teeth. Pleasant.

500ml Bottle, best before Mar 2013: poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard @ home on Sunday 4th Nov 2012.

Large head of white sat on top of a clear light amber/golden body: looked good.

The nose and taste are malt led, there seems to be the same hop presence in this bottled version and the blend is good. The beer has a crisp hop finish and has a more pronounced carbonisation in the bottle than the cask one did. This is a good bottled beer and just what I needed after a Friday and Saturday or excess.

Pours burnished gold body with a thick white head.

The aromas are mostly that of malt, a hint of golden syrup and cream crackers.

The hops finally makes an appearance in the taste flowing dryly with the malt taking it far away from any sweet taste chewy wheat and then a big smack of peppery bitterness.

Good solid mouthfeel nice low carbonation but still alive.

Another tasty Moorhouse brew, not the best but enough pride in it.

The colour is pale amber; the liquid is clear. The thin compact head is off white.

The smell is a little bit sour; some sweet notes of caramel and bitter hops.

The taste is mild with some fruity notes of matured apples, some citric bitterness and hints of yeast.

The carbonation is medium strong; the liquid a little creamy.
