Taste: malty, some apricot fruit notes, some hops. Mild semi sweet fruit nose. Golden/orange hue, partly unfiltered, with an average head and lace. Medium body. Mellow.

Pours clear dark copper, small head

Yeasty, toasty, bready on the nose. Slight metallic and sulphury notes

Caramelly bready malt, with a fairly decent middle bitterness and sweetness to balance. Metallic hops, fully body. Semi dry finish

It's ok, so unlike what you get from modern craft breweries . Would suit cask better

Bottle with 18 month bbe, this one was 3 weeks old.

Pours a typical EPA, maybe slightly darker than most. Reasonable white head that dissipates to nothing. Nose is classic with a bit of toasted bread and caramel. I'm not sure of the hop composition, but this seems to avoid the sometimes off-putting wet cardboard of many other EPAs. Flavor is solid. Light, but a good malt backbone and just enough bitterness to round it out. A bit herbal and mineral, a bit honey-sweet and creamy.
Overall, not particularly unique or special, but certainly a solid EPA. Would love to try this on cask instead of the bottle.

Bottling code of L2177. Searched the web, but couldn't find a decipher for it.

Appearance - Pours hazy and a muddled golden orange with a half-finger of khaki colored head that fizzes away to a near barren surface. Virtually no lacing, aside from the odd spot here or there.

Smell - Light notes of toffee and floral hop character. Hints of bread and honey.

Taste - A lot of honey on the tongue, with light breadiness. Hops are subdued, coming through with a touch of floral character and a faint citrus undertone. Mild toffee, apple-ish esters and a bit of buttery diacetyl come through toward the finish, helping to bring a bit of balance to the sweetness, but not enough to keep from becoming a bit cloying.

Mouthfeel - Light bodied with low carbonation. Smooth in the least, but ultimately falls flat.

Overall - Hard to determine how old this is given the cryptic bottling code, but I am not enjoying it as is, and until breweries start marking their beers with simple coding, I will treat beers as 'good to drink'. It's 2015, and there's no reason not to bottle date your beers in a fashion that consumers can easily read unless you have something to hide. Sorry Moorhouse's but your EPA, as I tried it, is not impressive.

Hazy darker amber orange color with a thin thick head with medium retention with very small floating particles.
Aroma of English earthy hops, light oranges and lemon, a hint of nuts and some mint.
Flavor of subdue oranges, English hops, mild caramel, minerals and bread malt. Dry aftertaste with an elegant bitterness.
Light body with mild carbonation.
That is a pleasant and easy to drink English Pale-Golden Ale. Nice balance between bitter and sweet, relatively malty, but hops elegantly counter it. High drinkability and it gets better as it warms up.

A: Pours out a nice (slightly hazy) walnut color, with a head that doesn't top a half inch but is reasonably persistent.
S: Bready, bread-crust malt, with a touch of toast.
T: Emphasis is on the malt. The bitterness is moderate, but there's little hop taste to be found. The malt is crusty, sort of biscuity. Yeast character is pretty neutral.
M: A tad watery, with low carbonation.
