Firkin version at Barley's 2nd Annual Mini RAF (03/27/04): This being my first Rocky River brew, I was pretty excited to get to try it. I was not let down. Pours a rich amber color with a medium beige head. Thin lacing. The aroma is strong roasted malt and hops, along with alcohol. The body is kind of chewy, with a flavor that is borderline Barley Wine. Strong hops, fruit and caramel. The finish is warming alcohol and hops. Overall this was a nice treat for my introduction to the Rocky River line.
