Yuppies/Bro guys everywhere. Thats Huntersville though.

Atmosphere: Your typical sports bar with a slightly better beer selection. College aged waitresses trying to flirt for more tip. Smokey, loud as hell, and pretty cramped at peak times. No real effort was put into the interior of this place.

Quality: Alright my complaints were that the beer always came with no head. That coupled with the smokey atmosphere kept me from smelling anything. Not to mention everything was ice cold, I mean too cold.

Service: Despite the waitress fishing for tips she was a nice girl and was pretty Johnny on the spot with most things and kept my water glass filled. So I tipped her well. The service was prob the best part of the experience.

Selection: Slightly above average. Def not top notch. A few micros, no NC beer represented at all. Mostly the BMC type craft beers like killians, blue moon, Red Hook, etc..

Food: Pub grub. almost fast food on steroids type. A little better than Burger King but still tasted like it came from a box. Decently tastey. The fries were pretty bad though.

Bottom line this isnt really my scene so take that into account before you go. Other may very well love it. Id prefer that place called the cork screw around the corner over this. I grew out of these kind of places after college. Brixx has a far better selection of beer and a slightly (and I do mean slightly) better atmosphere.

Decent food. When it comes to craft beer, this is not a place to go. SN Pale Ale might be your only option. Might be an alright place to catch an afternoon game. This is a gathering place for 20/30 somethings after 9pm. It becomes a quasi night club. No thanks.

In Huntersville NC for a business trip and eat at the Fox and Hound Pub and Grille last evening. The place was very clean, fair amount of space in the restaurant area and a huge bar area. Number of flat screen TV’s on the walls above the bar. Not a bad set up but the only take away for me was that the bar area was very smoky, coming from NY I am not use to the smoke in the bars. The beer selection was mediocre, mostly all macro’s on tap which was a little upsetting since they had about 10 taps, best looking stuff to me was Sam Adams. In bottle the selection was not much better but they did have Sam Smith Nut Brown and Oatmeal, which I got. The Oatmeal Stout was not to bad, little bit on the skunky side, I was figuring that this might happen as I had to convince the waitress that they had the stuff on their menu, she though I meant Sam Adams and said she had never heard of Sam Smiths. The food selection is very good nice sized menu. The food was also very good which surprised me coming from a chain of restaurants. Over all I would say that this place was good, one of the better places that I have found in the area I am in.
