It pours a rich Cooper color with a smell of bread. The taste at first was sweet but soon turned to a tart taste. The feel is ok just a little tart. Overall a fair drink not the best from Lazy Magomila but some thing different to try.

L: Poured from a bottle to a goblet. Had a coppery color and a hazy texture. There was a two inch, foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Not much lacing, though.

S: An okay aroma of fruit, wheat, and a light maltiness.

T: Tasted of some blackberries (not as much as you might think), a decent bit of wheat, a slightly salty quality, a hint of malt, and light spices (a little pepper, perhaps?). The flavor is a bit over acidic, which lends it a harshness. The blackberries are a decent idea, but don't quite mesh with the other ingredients.

F: A well carbonated beer with a slightly harsh finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is an uneven beer in several ways. An interesting idea, but a mixed bag in its execution.

Lazy Magnolia Bramblin' Man has a thick, off-white head, an initially clear, amber appearance (which clouds up, once the bottom sediment is swished and poured in), a good amount of bubble streams, and pretty much no lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of spiced bread, some brett, and generalized citrus fruit. Taste is the same, with some sweetness, and not much bitterness. Tartness is fairly prominent, here. Mouthfeel is medium and sloppy, and the finish is a bit sloppy. It's like ten different flavor notes, in search of an arrangement.

Pours hazy, orange-gold in color, with 1/2 inch head. Taste is wheat, light sourness, and light blackberry. I wish the blackberry would jump more, but this is still a decent beer. I prefer other Lazy Magnolia beers more, but this is worth a try.

Honestly, I was expecting more because I really like Lazy Magnolia. This was just too all over the place. I don't think blending the sour blackberry base with the wheat worked out. Maybe more wheat or more sour. It just didn't work for me.

Pours an effervescent amber with a pinky of pearl white head. Head fades away fast. Stays effervescent, zero head retention & lacing

S: Some blackberry & a little tartness, both pick up once warm

T: Follows the nose up front. A little tart wheatyness as this warms, some black berry once warm, slight smokeyness, a little dryness. Finishes dry, tart & a little jammy

MF: Light body, fairly firm carbonation

Drinks easy, refreshing enough, but like a lot of Lazy Magnolia offerings, nothing to write home about

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden color with ruby highlights and a large, off-white head of foam. It smelled of blackberry with tart lemon and toasted caramel. Sweet blackberry flavor with a tart bite. Hints of wheat and a mouth-puckering finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours rosy amber with a bit of haze, two finger fizzy head fades after a few minutes with no lace. Wheat aroma with a little tartness and hint of yeast. The taste of this is as described, a blackberry wheat ale. There blackberry is mild and only just a little tart. The finish is semi dry with a little odd aftertaste, but not off putting. Thin to medium mouthfeel. Overall this is a light, slightly tart Weiss, average tasting brew but refreshing.
