12 oz bottle - Picked up a while back while home in Louisiana for Christmas. One of the few craft beers available in the area.
A--Nice bright and a bit hazy brown. This brown is nice and bright and not quite as dark and opaque as other browns within this style. Thin head with very little lacing.
S--dark candy, some cinnamon. I'm not getting much nut or pecan like subtleties from the nose.
T--A pretty decent brown ale that is a bit on the sweeter side. I get some Belgian yeast notes on finish. Faint hints of cinnamon and nutmeg throughout. I would like to get a bit more malt and/or roast for this style but balancing the sweetness and malt might be a tall order.
M--The mouth feel is a but slick and thin with mid to low carbonation. The carbonation is good but this one could a bit more viscous.
D-- Fairly drinkable given the style and body. It's a bit on the sweet side for me so after 1 or 2 I am done with this one.
All in all this is a decent brown and I good step forward for craft brewing in the souh.

Had one of these 2 nights ago at O'Henry's in Metairie (New Orleans).
Light brown with tinges of red. Big foamy head (might be due to the frosted glass it was served in).
Aroma is mostly malts with hints of caramel and nuts.
Pretty tame flavour. Chewy malts with hints of nuts and some caramel.
A little watery for a brown ale, but not bad (again, could be due to the frosted glass it was served in).
Pretty decent beer. Nothing special, but worth a try.
