I love this beer. It is exactly what it should be. A lightly sweet, malty brown ale with a hint of pecan. It's original and perfectly executed IMO. Drinkability is off the charts.
This competes for title of "Quintessential Southern Session Beer." Beautiful.

Had one of these 2 nights ago at O'Henry's in Metairie (New Orleans).
Light brown with tinges of red. Big foamy head (might be due to the frosted glass it was served in).
Aroma is mostly malts with hints of caramel and nuts.
Pretty tame flavour. Chewy malts with hints of nuts and some caramel.
A little watery for a brown ale, but not bad (again, could be due to the frosted glass it was served in).
Pretty decent beer. Nothing special, but worth a try.
