A: Clear, light pale yellow in color. Forms a smallish fluffy white head. Little retention. Light lacing.
S: Aroma is clean, crisp hops. Mostly grapefruit and citrus zest with lesser notes of ginger, pine, and orange. Some pale malts in the mix.
T: Taste is similar. Clean and crisp. Pale malts. Mild sweetness. Grapefruit and grapefruit pith are the dominant hop flavors, though there is a light bit of pine in there as well. Quick finish.
M: On the lighter side. Crisp. Mild bitterness. Good carbonation.
O: I had a growler filled at the same place I picked up this bottle. Unfortunately, I was too lazy to tick the growler because I would have never recognized this as the same beer. The growler was fresh and lively with a wonderful hop aroma whereas the bottle was much more subdued and lackluster. Now, the bottle isn't a bad beer - it'd make a good everyday IPA (depending on the price) - but it also isn't an overly exciting beer either. A well-made middle-of-the-road beer.

Pours an effervescent honey/amber with 3 fingers of pearl colored head. Nice head retention & pretty good lacing
S: Grassy, bready, oranges
T: Grassyness, orange peel, grapefruit & a bit of pine up front, just a touch of aspirin too. Orange peel, a whisper of caramel & breadyness as this warms, along with slight aspirin bitterness. Crisp finish, dry with grapefruit & orange peel bitterness
MF: Light/medium bodied, lively carbonation, alright balance
Fairly drinkable, not a great IPA, but fairly serviceable. Would buy it again if A-list options weren't on hand...

Pours to a one inch frothy head that fall sto a 3/8 inch permanent head that erratically laces the glass. Color is a slightly hazy golden amber. Aroma delivers on the promise of grapefruit, tropical fruits and piney notes coming from the hops in their hops-forward brew. Flavor is a blast of luscious hop flavors and restrained bitterness with a very basic malt backdrop. Mouthfeel is light but a bit astringent. Overall this is a very good quaff and a good surprise.

The coppery tone of this IPA was a bit murky with loads of carbonation teeming through. The head was a thick froth of marangue like foam.
The aroma is earthy, herbal, very spicy with a leafy natural tone. Not a lot of citrus but maybe a touch of lemon can be discerned.
The flavor is simply too herbal for me. I get a onion, chive, oregano and thyme out of the hops with some malt but very little. This herbal hop prominence is not my style.
This is a touch bitter and astringent but nothing detracting and it drinks like water.
I must admit that there was a lot of hop flavor but those hop flavors were not the style I like or what my palate accepts.
