Poured from tap into pint at the columbia street taproom, covington, LA. Pours a brownish golden with thick creamy head. Really nice pine, grapefruit, pineapple, hop aromas. So far I'm impressed. Taste is quite nice. Mellow malts but great citrusy pineapple hop flavor. Slight grapefruit and bitter mouthfeel but really tastey. Overall, very surprised this is as good as it is - no offense LM but this is probably the best of your brews I ever had. Great DIPA! I highly reccomend it.

Hazy amber color with a decent white that retreats to just a skin fairly quickly but persists and produces a bit of lacing.
The aroma is piney hops and warm rye bread, mild but nice.
The taste is pine resin and grapefruit up front followed quickly by a peppery, spicy rye note with a bready malt undertone that helps blend it all together. The finish is peppery dry with a lingering pine/citrus aftertaste that makes you want more.
Medium bodied, smooth and very drinkable with well hidden alcohol content.
Altogether a very nice IPA, especially if you like rye as I do.
