Poured into a snifter glass. The beer pours hazy golden with a quickly dissipating finger-length white head. There are lots of visible tiny bubbles rising in the beer. There are aromas of citrus, honeysuckle, Belgian yeast, and bready malt. I get some of that Belgian yeast in the flavor along with the citrus, honeysuckle, and malt. The alcohol is pretty well hidden in the flavor. The body is medium with moderate carbonation. The finish is dry. This is a good beer.

12 oz bottle from Tower in Atlanta. No date despite a place on the label. Served in a Belgian snifter.

Pours amber with a small, short-lived head. Excellent clarity.

Aroma: apple juice, floral and fruity yeast effects.

Flavor: Belgian yeast (mainly banana and clove); light baked bread in the finish; light spices; hint of honey(suckle?).

Feel: medium body and crisp carbonation.

O: a quality Belgian style ale.

12oz. Fairly bright gold pour, about a finger of white head.

Aroma, quite a bit of banana, clove. Some sweeter nutmeg and malt. A little spice, pepper, some herbal like hops.

Taste, swetter malt and some grainy wheat type malt. Clove and bubblegum. Some yeast and the lightest barnyard flavors. Finish is fairly dry, light herbal hops in the finish.

Pretty refreshing and easy to drink. Carbonation is lively, about right body wise, in between light and medium. Maybe a tad watery. Abv is certainly well hidden.
Wish it was a little more pale, but this was pretty enjoyable. More like a big blonde ale.

Poured into a Funky Buddha Brewery snifter. Bottleneck says Best By: 10/26/13

A- Pours a hazy orangeish golden color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains a bit before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a half sheet of surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves a jagged ring behind on the glass. Sediment on the bottom of the bottle is indicative of bottle-conditioning.

S- Big burst of Belgian yeast brings lots of banana notes. Slightly soapy and perfume-like.

T- Flavor brings much of the same with some added spice and citrus notes. The yeast is strong but the alcohol flavor isn't which is nice. Pretty straightforward and not very complex which is fine.

M- Sharp and oily with medium carbonation and a body leaning to the fuller side.

O- A surprisingly solid Belgian from a brewery that hasn't impressed me up until now.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a hand glass.

A: Deep golden hue. Pervasive rising effervescence. Pours a slight, bubbly, white head. Dissipates very quickly. Continual effervescence. No real lacing.

S: Yeasty, floral, and chalky. Soapy.

T: Tastes like it smells. Yeast is very prominent, a little agave nectar, and some grapefruit pith.

M: Thick and syrupy feel. Filters up into palate and infiltrates the entire nasal cavity. A little bit of sweet hint in the front, and a bitter acetyl finish. A little hot.

D: Character will dictate a slower experience.

Atmosphere is decent. Nice hue, lots of effervescence, slight head, but no real lacing. Floral and yeasty nose. Very strong yeast character with touches of sweetness and grapefruit. Kind of a synthetic feel. Overall, this is an okay quaff.

Appearance: Pours a hazy gold from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip. Small white head that fades quickly, some thin lacing.

Smell: Solid on the nose with some citrus and grassy notes with hints of belgian yeast. A bit of spice as well perhaps some coriander.

Taste: Right up front with citrus and spiciness, I get some grapefruit, lemon, and a bit of spice. Some piney notes in the finish. Very tasty belgian style ale.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. I was surprised to see this listed as 8.5% as it drinks incredibly easily. Could perhaps use a bit more body and creaminess but it is true to its style.

Overall: Glad I picked up a bottle of this and I may need to get more since this is quite good. Very good beer in a style I don't drink a ton of.
