Long summer days spent laboring over the vines are but a fleeting memory in the minds of the hard working hop farmer. The harvest is now upon us and we have brewed a Pale Ale to commemorate this great season. T-Bird is a harmonious blend of proprietary and fresh Ohio-grown hops giving its medium malt body a splash of earthy, spicy notes with an essence of lime and pear. T-Bird Harvest Ale is the fruit of the summer's labor. crack open a can and enjoy the Harvest.

A: The beer is slightly hazy dark orange amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high off white head that died down, but left a thin head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose—limes seem to stand out in particular.
T: The taste has flavors of spicy and lime hops along with underlying hints of caramel malts. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this beer has a good balance between the malts and hops. The aromas and flavors of the hops were a little interesting, given that they are proprietary and Ohio-grown.

This is a pretty damn good APA. Dank notes and some mild malts occupy the smell. Taste follows with dankiness and hops and a great mild bitterness. I would drink this a lot if it was available more redily.

Aroma is very dank, with underlying grapefruit and pine, but that cannabis dominates.
Flavor is fairly sweet and malty initially. Mid palate, I get the pear notes mentioned on the can, along with some citrus sourness. The finish is moderately bitter and a bit banal. There's a harshness that lingers.

Limited Release Can Series "Hop Harvest Ale" brewed with Ohio grown hops:
A- Pours a cloudy light orange. A finger of very fine bubbled head on the surface, and decent polka dot lacing on the sides.
S- Not a super strong aroma, but some hops in there- fresh cut grass and lime zest.
T- More full tasting with hops taking the forefront. Citrus zest- especially lime and grapefruit pith. Water cracker undertones.
M- Lots of bitterness all around the mouth, and lingering for a while on the backsides of the tongue.
O- A good hop flavor- though maybe could use some extra malt backbone to round it out a bit more. Nothing earth shattering about this one, but I would drink another.
