Located outside the city centre, about a mile or so up the ormeau road coming from the university square area
Pretty dismal looking place from the exterior, shoddy looking....but thats not what we're here for....we're here for beer!
Quite a cluttered layout, this place specialises in wines and spirits primarily but has a good range of good beer too
Most of the stuff is belgian, which is great because northern ireland is seriously lacking in belgian beer availability.
They have beers ranging from 3 monts, chimay, piratt, rochefort etc to a few US micros i was pleased to see like anchor steam and liberty ale, i also found a couple of different types of coopers in six packs.
They have the usual germans, erdinger, frankiskaner, warsteiner etc, and a few local brews. Found some nice scottish ales like old engine oil and traquair house
I ended up leaving with westmalle tripel, tripel karmelit, anchor liberty ale, st patricks best, corsendonk, piratt, liefmans frambroise, old engine oil and traquair house
All in all, a good place to buy your beer, fair selection of belgians, more specifically GOOD belgians, they have a well picked selection of some of the best belgian beers available
The selection is getting better and better, more craft US beers.
The only thing that might be considered a problem, (although it could be considered a benefit), is that the stock changes all the time, which is great as u get to try lots of new beers but then again if u try something and like it it might be hard to get again
Recently the selection has been a little dull, shelves of lot of stock but just the same thing over and over.... plus the prices are getting a little ridiculous, £2.59 for a 330ml bottle of chimay blue? They also have a quite a large range at the minute of 'world lagers'.... :(
Update: Things seem to go through cycles. They had SN IPA and Celebration Ale 2006 which was good, plus Bon Secours Brune and Blond.

Located on the Ormeau Road in Belfast....
Northern Ireland is pretty poor when it comes to getting hold of a selection of quality beer so it was amazing to find somewhere like this. It certainly doesn't have the biggest selection in the world but its miles better than anywhere else round here....
I've been coming here for my beer for about a year now and in that time have been able to get hold of lots of goodies -
Belgians have included - Rochefort, Westmalle, Orval, Timmermans, Corsendonk, Piraat, Leffe, Chimay, Liefmans...
Germans have included - Paulaner, Schneider Weisse, Maisels Weisse, Franziskaner, Erdinger, Fruh...
They also have pretty much every brew by Samuel Smith..
Have also had Anchor brews - Porter, Liberty, Steam... and also Coopers pale and sparkling ales...
Overall well worth a visit if you live in Northern Ireland... selection seems to change quite regularly so you won't get everything listed above at the same time...
