On cask at Volo's Cask Days, 2011. Listed at 65 IBUs.
Pours black, but not completely opaque; some deep red highlights with almost zero head and lace. Nose is intensely roast, some burnt vanilla and car tires. Some vanilla, dark chocolate and fudge as well. Taste is buttery, some bourbon, fudge, burnt vanilla and chocolate notes - some herbal qualities as well. Medium heavy body, with a weird finish that I can't quite describe. Not a fan of this by any means, lots of odd flavours and qualities which prevent this from being a decent cask.

Nearly jet black, tan soapy head, light lace left behind. Smell is bourbon and oak up front, roasted malty notes, vanilla, fudge, chocolate cake, lots of oak, some coffee. Taste is roasty with notes of bourbon, vanilla, milk and dark chocolate, oaked coffee flavours in finish. Light-med carb, full body, decent weight. I found this to be quite flavourful more so than the people I was with, I thought it was fairly solid and with a couple tweaks could be a solid Ontario made RIS, I would welcome this again, every so often these guys brew a beer that surprises me and this was one of them.

Cask Days 2011.A decent beer with interesting taste, led by bitterness and some sourlness. less than par for the style. on cask increased drinkability. Downside is that the mouthfeel is less than average for the style. Sour first, chocolate and coffee second. Sugary and boozy.
