Beer has a nice, rich golden color to it. Smells very light and drinkable. Taste was rather bland, not much happening for me on this one, but not horrible. Hardly any aftertaste, this could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the person. Very drinkable, goes down smooth. If there was more to taste I would have given this a higher rating, but overall a decent beer. (374 characters)

Thanks to hopdog for a hitchhiker. Light blond colour with some honey mixed cloudiness and a good sized head. Malty sweet aroma. Easy drinking pale ale with unpasteurized honey and more on the sweet than the bitter, honey also buttresses the nmouthfeel. (253 characters)

gotta love nimbus' bottle designs, bery creative and enjoyable

A- clear, golden straw in color, big fluffy white head with good retent, settles to ring, some lacing

S- floral, sweet, fruit scents, pear

T- malt sweetness, pear flavor, floral hops, bit buttery

M- smooth, its watery, but not paper thin, got some body to it.

D- very easy to drink, this is one of those brews made to appeal to macro drinkers and craft drinkers alike. Not my favorite, but its not horrible. Well brewed, i think brews like this are necessary to ween people off marcos. (564 characters)

So I actually get to be the first to rate this beer...NOICE!

Overall this is a nice easy beer for thos warmer summer days/nights. It pours a nice golden clear color with a nice fluffy head of foam. The smell is light and not overpowering at all. Some hops but very faint. The first swig reveals a pleasing and light beer to drink. Not dreadfully full of any one specific flavor, but still tasty none the less. I really liked this beer as its a great all around beer that will get the novice beer drinkers into some great hand crafted beers. My wife likes this one and she normally doesnt drink the beers I do, so its a great way to have something in common about beer :) (673 characters)

Served on-tap, the head was only about one finger with decent retention, color is a light gold with superb clarity and good active carbonation. Smell is very faint. Only slight bready malt aroma present. Taste is mild, light malt with a bit of citrus/lemon flavor and a slight nuttiness in the finish. Low, low bitterness. Very crisp, light body, carbonation is nice. This beer is very lager-like and sadly, macro-tasting. Not much flavor overall, but it is refreshing and I could see drinking it again on a hot day maybe... (524 characters)

Pours a slightly murky golden straw color. The head is off white, and pours at least four fingers thick, even on a gentle pour. As the head erodes a nice bit of lacing is left, and it clings to a clean glass nicely. Overall, an attractive enough beer.

Very interesting smell. Malt sweetness is present in the form of fruitiness, which is fitting, but there also are mild hints of citrus, as well as some earthiness, or even downright meatiness, which come from behind to confuse me. It throws me for a loop, and I like that.

Taste holds more of the same (a good thing). When just a little bit above fridge temp, a sweet malt fruitiness is at the forefront, but after swallowing a pronounced citrus rolls forward. It ends quite dry. However, as it warms, more complexity arises. The somewhat generic “fruity” taste evolves into what seems to be a dried apricot with a dash of honey that dilutes a little of the strength of the bitterness. Definitely a more intriguing brew than I was expecting. The mouthfeel is nothing extraordinary, but neither is it unpleasant. Enough body to please the mouth without hitting the stomach like a brick.

I found this to be a pleasently complex brew. Good job Nimbus. Better yet, it’s definitely drinkable all night long. (1,266 characters)

A deep gold color, it is quite clear and has a white head on top. It smells faintly of something that reminds me of some sort of soda, though I can't quite put my finger on it. There is a faint honey aroma perhaps. Tastes light with a bit of woodiness and it finishes with a bit of smokiness. A fairly dry beer that has a spicy note in the finish. As this beer warms up a nice amount of honey expresses itself. The mesquite honey is not strong but it adds complexity to an otherwise non descript style of beer. (510 characters)

"Arizona Beerfest"!
It was nice to see the "Great Beer Lovers" from Nimbus at the beerfest, and they had several of their beers to sample.
The beer is a winsome golden blond on the pour, the head is modest and bright white, frothy in texture and as it erodes, leaves behind a nice bit of lace. Nose is all malt, clean and fresh, crisp and just the kind of beer we like to drink when the temperature hits 115 degrees. Finish has a delicate hop presence, mildly acidic and a pleasingly dry aftertaste. (501 characters)
