Well, thanks to paterlodie, the only other reviewer of this beer, for this sample! This was one of the other tasty treats that I brought home from my 2005 trip to Belgium.

Pours darkish brown with a huge, thick, creamy, light tan head.

Aroma starts with a note of moldy fruit, followed by a nice spiciness and a hint of baked sugar cookie. Very nice.

Flavor starts tart but mellows into...something else, but what? Something a bit astringent and harsh. Brettonomyces? I'm not sure what, but it's not entirely pleasant. This gets more drinable as the beer warms and the malt flavor starts to stand out.

Surprisingly light-bodied and well-carbonated. Very dry in the finish.

Certainly not what I would have expected from the appearance, but overall a very nice tasting brew!

Bottled 16-09-04. Pooring this one in a glas is as easy as pooring in a glass of milk; Nice yellow foam that's lasting very well and a nice brown color; not 100% clear though.
Smell makes you think of Trappist right away; Brett arome and aged hops makes you think you're in that wonderfull world of Orval. Little less Brettanomyces( but most evidently there), little more cheese and in the back some caramellic maltarome. Taste is excellent also, being Brett, malt, dry and then going into a good and strong bitternes thats litle hanging but with dryhopping( as I guess it has) normal. Sourness and nice carbonisation make mouthfeel maybe even better as taste and nose. Drinkabillity is with all thiss pleasure great also! Highly recommended IMO.
