Maybe the best stout I've ever had, which might not be saying a lot. Delicious chocolate-y flavor. High alc % is hidden nicely.

Thick, black, almost still with just a thin ring, and bit of bubbly film atop to even hint at carbonation.

Dark caramel, molasses, rooty herbal backing, burnt sugar, coffee, and some light roast in the medium strength aroma. Nice.

Good gawd what a blast of deep, dark flavor. It overwhelms the palate in a thick wave of burnt caramel, blackest molasses, bitter chocolate, and almost acrid bitter roast malts. In a good way. It oozes into the mouth, and stays on palate long after swallow. Alcohol is a major player, spicy, hot, vaporous, and intense. In a good way. As it warms dark fruits start to appear, and hoppy bitter accompanies the roast. Crazy and delicious.

Almost no carb., viscous beyond belief, finish that is very lasting roasty bitter and heat.

Looking for a stout that will curl your mustache and melt your nosehairs? This is it. Not for the faint of heart, this would probably kill a Bud Light drinker.
