Poured into a Black Raven pint glass. Pours a hazy caramel orange with a two finger fine light tan head with great retention and tons of lacing. Great aroma of caramel malt, piney and citrus hops and fresh rye. Flavor is relatively muted, neutral sweet malt, citrus and pine resin hops, a slight tartness from the rye. Finishes with lemony citrus and citrus and pine hops. I suspect the flavor is somewhat muted by the age of this bottle. Really nice creamy body, including a whipped cream consistency head, mmm. A very nice rye IPA with good support from a malt body that adds little flavor, but balances the hops well. This bottle, just arrived in Seattle, was bottled in January. I want to thank everyone involved with beer distribution in the country for their obvious dedication to getting beer, especially hoppy IPAs to the consumer in a snappy 11 months. Good job! Maybe some miracle will occur and you will start caring about your product and I can taste this fresh. I'll bet it's great!

11.2oz (bottled 1/15/2013) into a tulip. Pours a murky copper color w/ a 1-finger head.
Aroma is sweet and fruity, floral. Peaches & mangoes, candi sugar.
Taste is earthy and sweet w/ an herbal tea-like quality, not sure if it's the rye malt. Finishes bitter and dry.
Mouthfeel is a little prickly from the carbonation. I like the dry finish, which I suspect is a result of the yeast strain.
Overall a different, unique IPA. Not my favorite version of the style by any means, but interesting.

Purchased from DeMolen in NL and enjoyed from De Molen tall tulip also from their shop
A-Poured a deep, golden color with light tan head of foam, nice head and excellent lacing
S-Modest aroma, very citrusy, a mix of lemon-lime and floral hops and rye spice.
T-Tart! Sweet malts, lime, and light bitter floral hops, ending in an almost acidic lemon notes.
M-Medium body, nice medium carbonation. Slightly dry and spicy, but with a slight oily texture and definite dried finish.
O-A little different then I expected, light, refreshing, super nice and would be very enjoyable on a nice warm, summer day!

330ml bottle. Wide Stem glass (De Molen). Amber color, foggy appearance. Off-white rocky lasting crown.Fresh bread, toffee, black bread aromas, herbal hues, vanilla notes & fresh wood to the nose. Sharp citric bitter upfront is barely balanced by toasted malts. Medium body. Medium to high carbonation. Slightly dried & spicy mouthfeel. Oily texture. Dried finish.
