First had poured from 22-oz. bomber into tulip. This beer goes down much bigger than is suggested by the 5.80 ABV, and it gets bigger and hoppier as you empty your glass. Having dogs in space and Wil Wheaton's signature on the label is pretty cool too.

Pours a hazy orange-brown, with quick-dissipating head that leaves no lacing behind. Smells tropical and juicy, with passionfruit, lychee, and pomelo leading the way; aromas of brown sugar and peach trail behind. On the tongue, the passionfruit sticks around, but the other fruits step aside in favor of lime, grapefruit, and light resinous notes. I can imagine this being quite pleasant for anyone who likes grapefruit juice, mai tais, or other tropical cocktails. Even not being much of an IPA drinker, I found this to be pretty well executed.

Appearance: Arrives looking like apricot nectar - very cloudy with hardly any head; no lacing
Smell: Tropical fruit and lime tones
Taste: Opens with a biscuity character and then the tropical fruit (mango, kiwi and lime) takes over; grapefruity tones build, in the middle, with the lime lingering underneath
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: An interesting twist as a result of the adjuncts used; the lime really makes a difference and is a great idea for the summer

This is one of the better varieties of the monthly IPA series from Foothills, with an opaque dark apricot color brew. The smell is put tropical fruits and the taste matches it. An excellent brew that makes me wish I'd picked up a few more to share (or not share) with others.

Look - cloudy golden orange like an unfiltered hefeweizen
Smell - rich grapefruit/passionfruit persuasion
Taste - spot on like the taste of grapefruit juice but not as dry or bitter due to the zest of a orange/passionfruit combination
Feel - surprisingly still slightly bitter/hoppy despite tasting/smelling very tropical
Overall - yet another EXCELLENT variation on an American-style IPA beautifully brewed by Foothill Brewing!!!

Foamy head dissipates quickly. Dark yellow and cloudy with a super fruity aroma. Flavor pretty much matches aroma. A lot of tropical fruit. Very nice IPA, super easy to drink.
