Poured on-tap and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a slightly hazed, copper coloring with steady carbonation and a thin, low profile, off-white head. Nose of caramel and a subtle hops bitterness, with spicy and floral highlights. Flavors are more hop forward, with resinous and bitter notes, hints of grapefruit, and a sweet, roasted caramel backbone. Well balanced, and very drinkable. Smooth, light bodied. The aftertaste is peppery and bitter, with a slightly dry finish. Tasty.
