Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Thin off white head drops quickly, mild lacing. Cooper color. Aroma of rich roasted malt, raisin, caramel, some hop note. Mouthfeel is medium. Flavors of caramel, raisin, fresh bread dough, floral and herbal hops. Very good.

12 ounce bottle poured into a dimpled mug.
Bottled 7/26/21

Pouring clear and a rather dark coppery brown. A one finger, dense khaki head persists and fades to a thin cap in a few minutes. The nose is subdued, malty and features bread dough, sweet cola-like caramel and spicy hop aromas. The caramel doesn't come through so much in the flavor as it opens malty and lightly sweet, bread, toast and spicy hop favor with herbal and woody hop bitterness showing as it moves to a cleaner and more dry finish. Medium in weight, the body is soft and slightly creamy with moderate crispness. It finishes a little sharp for me but is overall a good Marzen.

I know 3.75 across the board is boring, but that is where this one is. Clear amber pour, good head and carbonation. Tastes darker than it is, good malt and caramel backbone. Full mouthfeel and a malty coffee infused aftertaste

One of my favorites from foothills. Like the American take...a malty Oktoberfest. Tastes almost like something different altogether...dark ale kind of beer that has Oktoberfest traits. Not too much alcohol in the taste. Good level of carbonation. However you classify it, it works well. I really enjoy this beer, and look for it every year.

Look is a nice dark amber ,copper color with a with a one finger thick slightly off-white head small bubbles lots of lacing
Smell is someone muted caramel malts candy sugars what is definitely subdued.
Feel is nice about what you'd expect.
Taste sorry for the out of order. Caramel malts candy sugar East almost wore lager then a marzin Octoberfest.
Overall just average there are plenty of better Octoberfest on the market not that this is bad it's just not great.

Poured from a bottle into a glass.

Overall: quite good. More going on with this one than with some other run-of-the-mill Oktoberfests.

Look: slightly hazy. Orange amber color. Fairly dark for the style. Nice skim. Some lacing.
Smell: toasty and malty. Lager funk. Musty. A touch sour.
Taste: toasted malts. More caramelized than most I've had in this style. Deep musty flavors. Woody. An acidic bitterness lingers.
Feel: moderately smooth. Expands a little in the mouth.
