Served on tap at Foothills Brewing Company in Winston-Salem, NC.
A: Pours a mostly clear copper in color with light amounts of visible carbonation and some orange highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense off-white head that slowly reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrus/grapefruit and pine hops over the top of some lighter caramel malts.
T: Upfront there are some biscuit malts with a touch of caramel sweetness and a strong flavor of citrus/grapefruit and pine hops. Moderate amounts of lingering bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: Enjoyable and easy to drink - a very drinkable year round IPA offering. This is a solid beer that I will likely have a couple of more times.

14 oz pour at the Charlotte airport
A: copper color, i think the glass was soapy as the head was almost non existent but did put up a bit of a fight on lacing, white and delicate
S: hop resin, apricot, orange rind,
T: good match to the nose, does have a hit of anise about 1/2 way though that quickly dissipates into a more grassy quality. otherwise, raw hop and sweetish fruit tones
M: good, moderately heavy with just a slightly dry finish
O: not too bad, a bit raw all around, but for an airport beer it was a satisfying experience

On tap at Barley's, Asheville, NC.
Poured a light copper hue with scone finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a vibrant citric hop atop a light grainy malt.
The taste was likewise characterized by a punchy grapefruit hop that was slightly mellowed bug the grainy ple malt.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a very nice hop forward ale.

A: Poured a clear bright orange color with a a moderate white cap, some bubbles and light lacing
S: Smeels big and fruit with oranges and pineapple with a light citrus note. Hints of caramel appeal to me as well
T: Pretty solid. An immedaite hop bite with ripened citrus and some tropical fruit, light pine on a caramel backbone. The finsh has pronounced, dry like hop bitterness with a slightly slick, prickly finish
M: Medium bodied. Well carbonated. Loads of citrus, lingering bitterness and a tad bit of astringency
O: Pretty good
