Cask at Duckworths. Hazy lighter brown pour, nice light tan layer. Didn't really stick much.
Aroma, a mix of malty caramel and chocolate. Some mintiness.
Taste, the mint adds a very herbal nature to this one. Chocolates, cocoa and faint roast. Grasshopper or irish cream in beer form, though not as heavy on the mint.
Not quite medium bodied and about creamy. Still would expect a better body on cask than this exhibited.
The base beer is one of my favorites. This is a unique effort, but not sure I'd recommend anyone else to duplicate.

Appearance: Arrives with a blanket of tan foam capping the midnight brown liquid; does a pretty good job leaving sheets of lace behind
Smell: Dark chocolate, mint and a hint of roast
Taste: A bit of roast on the opening and then the chocolate and mint flavors take over and build through te finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body; somewhat creamy with low carbonation
Overall: A bit on the sweet side but a refreshing change of pace

Cask at Thirsty Monk for Foothills Pre-Brewgrass Takeover – People’s Porter is the base beer.
Pours a thin pitch black that is completely opaque. Smells exactly like a freshly opened box of thin mint girl scout cookies. First sip has the bitter dark chocolate hitting first with a ton of mint quickly following. Light bodied with somewhat low carbonation – but heck…it’s a cask. Full of flavor so unique it should be sold door to door by your neighbor’s kid looking for another merit badge.
