Something is up with this beer in reference with BA. It is now being brewed by Foothills but under the Cottonwood name. They have made this beer forever it seems. I have drank it when it was brewed in several other locales, I think now that Foothills has control of the operation it will be a much more solid and consistent beer.

Pours an orange pumpkin-like color. A lot of head at first but settles well into a fair amount of lacing.

Aromas of fall, malty, sweet, lots of spices, cinnamon, clove, allspice and maybe some ginger. It has a very pumpkin spice aroma going on.

Taste: Sweet, pumpkin pie in a bottle. Its very strong on the spices, if there is any pumpkin in this beer, I doubt they use much. The spices overpower the pumpkin. I don't really have a problem with the fact that there is little pumpkin in there, I kind of like the spice component about these pumpkin beers.

Overall: Its not a lot different than others, I will say the mouthfeel and thickness of it makes it a better one than others, but they all taste pretty much the same, at least the better ones. Where we live its usually on sale at least once in the season and its totally worth the $8 or $9 a six pack.
