It has a fairly plain metallic malt taste. Carbonated and refreshing, kind of light. There's a bit of a grape fruitiness to it. It just tastes fairly plain. It's not bad at all, but it doesn't carry much flavor.
It has a nice brown color, basically completely see-through. It's very bubbly throughout. It has a foamy white head, tannish, with some lacing. Not much of a scent to it. Kind of metallic.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a snifter at fridge temp; bottle date 3/12/14.
Look: Pours the color of very strong tea (or very weak coffee) with a decided red tinge. Decent 1" head that quickly resolves to a persistent 1/4".
Smell: If I were blindfolded, I'd guess this was a wee heavy. Not picking up any hop character. As it warms, more of the brown ale shines through—dirt, nuts, cardboard (don't think it's oxidized, just the closest scent I can conjure). Then, hints of stale coffee, mild medicinal cherry.
Taste: Tastes... brown. Again, dirt, a little coffee, very mild bitterness. Fairly pleasant dark fruit and cherry aftertaste. Basically, mix 70% wee heavy, 20% American black ale, and 10% Guinness and you'll get the idea.
Feel: Inoffensive. Medium, bubbly but slick. Certainly the best part of the brew.
Overall: This was okay, but they sure talked up the hops a lot. Granted, I'm assuming the date is a bottled-on, not best-by, so maybe I've just got it wrong and the hops have all gone. As it stands, probably not something I'd bother with again.

12 ounce bottle -> snifter
A - mahogany brown (not opaque) with a one finger khaki head, decent retention and decent lacing.
S - the nose is mostly bread and some pine.
T - Roasted nuts, coffee, caramel, cola, and molasses
M - a little thin with a coffee aftertaste
O - as brown ales go this one is pretty good, a bit more robust than most.
