Had this beer on tap in a small bar in Montreal.
A : Nice golden color, with a lot of carbonation. The head faded quickly though, that may be because they did not rince the glass before pouring the beer.
S : We can identify cereals in the smell.
T : Excellent. We taste immediately the cereal notes, the same as I smelled earlier.
M : A little bit watery, but for this type of beer, this is kind of normal.
D : Really refreshing, easy to drink. I would not have any problems drinking this one again on tap. I think I will go to that bar again to see if they have anything else from the Trois Mousquetaires.

Last of my LTM sample pack.
Poured into a lager glass. Medium-light golden, about a half inch of white head. Survives as a thin ring, little lacing. Looks like a blonde...
Nose is dry cereal and fruit, maybe apple or lemon. A bit of hop character as well. I've never really dug brews that smell so grainy, but it's growing on me.
Taste is similar to the nose - all cereal and a bit of apple and lemon. Finish is slightly sweet.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, light carbonation. A well-put together body, I have to say.
Great for what it is, but not my favorite of the mix pack. I probably won't get this one again.

A nice brown bottle with a blue label with the word BLONDE in white....Pours hazy yellow with a nice light head.
Smell - Bready and Yeasty with a faint lemon odor. Floral in there as well.
Flavor - Mmmm. Lets see. Smooth, a little buttery with a toast like flavor. Tartness that finds its way into the mix. A nice little bitter hoppy splash right in the middle as well. Very refreshing. I'm surprised actually how nice this tastes.
I really like the mouthfeel with this one. Rich, smooth and crisp all together, nice fine bubbles.
I'm usually not a big fan of the Pilsler style, but I must say, i like this one and I'm somewhat surprised. I was expecting a bit more Bland flavor.

Tasted on May 11th, 2009.
Appearance: Nice pale yellow lager. The head is somewhat creamy...
Smell: Cereal which is probably the malts. The smell is light intensity but it is a nice smell.
Taste: Like the smell, predominantly malt with some bitterness but very light. Typical of a pale lager...
Mouthfeel: Thin bodied beer and dry finish at the end. The beer is crisp.
Another thirst quenching beer from Les Trois Mousquetaires. I really dig their beer. So far, I haven't get a bad beer from them.

One of 4 different styles from the Les Trois Mousquetaires variety pack. Pours out a slightly chill hazed golden straw, tall tight spongy white head that slowly settles.
Clean grains on the nose, faint bready malt, and equally faint grassy, spicy hops.
The flavour is rounded smooth bready malt also with very faint spicy hops on the finish, light bready aftertaste, almost buttery at times.
Smooth rounded mouthfeel just like the flavour, a bit of mild carbonation on the finish, clean yet not crisp.

This beer replaces D'Artagnan, which is now retired.
Drank this while sitting on my back porch on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Poured from a 341ml. bottle.
Appearance: Clear, yellow-straw body. Lots of bubbles that keep rising. Thick, foamy white head.
Smell: Floral, corn, grassy. Reminds me of a field or pasture.
Taste: Definite grass-like feel. Floral, though not as much as the aroma. Malt finish with lingering bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Tiny bit thin. Faint hops but clean malt dominates. Some corn in there with decent carbonation. A bit on the light side (not too light). Bitterness opens up as it warms with some more malt though subdued.
Drinkability: Refreshing & very good ease of consumption.Wish i had another!
Overall: A good summer brew, nothing fancy, perfect for a sunny day. It is what it claims to be, nothing more. A reliable blonde that will be one of my go-to summer beers.

341ml bottle poured into a pint glass
Appearance - the beer pours somewhat cloudy pale golden color with a huge fizzy white head. The carbonation doesn't show very much at all. Just a few bubbles rising to top. There isn't a whole lot of lacing, and the head lasted for a few minutes.
Smell - The beer has a distinctive aroma, first thing that came to mind was salt and vinegar... Also some corn syrup and other vegetable like notes that I can't quite put my finger on.
Taste & Mouth - The carbonation is so-so.. it's there, but I feel like there should be more. You can taste the corn, and very light hops. The beer finishes with a very mild bitter taste and you're left tasting the corn.
Drink - I expected more from Trois Mousquetaires. This is simply a run of the mill beer that I would not seek out again. It doesn't possess a single feature that would have me looking for more.

First of four types in Les Trois Mousquetaires mixer pack.
A - Pours a thumb of head which dissipated to small islands. It's a bright golden colour, very appealing, and appears to have quite a bit of carbonation.
S - A sweet grassy scent with a touch of caramel or toffee. Much stronger than I would've expected given the light colour to this beer.
T - Quite typical of a pilsner, very light flavour, with a grassy and bready flavour. Had a bit of a sweet corn flavour on the finish and after taste, very unique.
M - Very light, though a little overly carbonated for my liking.
D - Very drinkable, and it's rather light flavour is unlikely to offend anyone. Perfect beer if you're looking for something a refreshing on a hot summer's day!

341ml bottle poured into pint glass dec21 2009
A clear straw yellow with a fair amount of large bubbles under a fluffy two finger head that has decent retention and leaves a few patches of lace
S some honey, bread and floral hops
T even a little sweeter then on the nose and perhaps some lemon I couldn't smell
M thin but crisp and just a little bite
D not a bad beer by any means but from this brewer there's better beers you could be drinking
no real complaints with this beer and it has good qualities with out doubt, having said that there's other beers I would drink in the same price range

poured a hazey honey-gold color. Active carbonation and a modest cap that laces well enough.
Aromas of fresh milled toasty malts and a slight wisp of cider and herbs.
Peppery mouth feel medium light bodied. Malty up front then a floral acidic discernment from yeast and hops, clean fresh finish slight after taste of bread. A very decent pislsner in the German style...probably will be over-looked or buried in the flood of pilsners on the market... too bad, this is a good all malt rendition of the style.

Huge white head from an aggressive pour. Took it's time settling into anice white cap that didn't go away. Bright, clear P yellow in colour.
Grains, slight sweet bread malts and faint grassy/spicy hop. Nothing that screams drink me for sure.
Sweeter than I thought it would be. Cereal grains mix with a touch of the aformentioned grassy hop. Finishes bitter in the slightest with a touch of metallic twang @ the back of my tongue.
Smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel.
Decent Czech Pils.

Whether blonds are your type or not, you can't deny what a stunning beaut this one is! A sharp, glassy complexion, striking yellow colour, crystalline clarity, chiseled bubbles and an eggshell white head that's smooth as a baby's bottom. There's even lace there for decor.
The smell is that of fresh-milled grain with hints of grassy hops. I might find the smell more appealing if it didn't remind me so vividly of plain, salty, white crackers. The scent is surprisingly distinctive and, despite some vegetal notes, its character and wholesomeness assure you that this is an all-malt lager and that not a single trace of adjunct was used.
Trois Mousquetaires Blonde is far more flavourful than the lot of commercial, mass-produced lagers on the market. More than that, however, it is cleaner and more organic tasting as well. The grass and grains conjure to mind an open field - not a factory. The naturally earthy, grainy overtones are reassuring of a quality, craft-made lager.
That being said, this does drink with all the "light, refreshing, easy-going taste" that those big brands advertise. This is, after all, a plain, simple, conventional style beer and I assure you the brewery has done little to mask that. Instead, they've just presented the specs as they were and been sure not to let much bitterness get in the way of things.
Reverting to what I wrote earlier, blonds aren't really my type but I can acknowledge a nice one when I come across it and this was certainly worth the go round. Fortunately this brewery offers many more exciting styles that do catch my eye and, given the character and quality of this one, I know I can expect good things and money well spent.

Bottle from Peluso in Montreal. Drank out of a plastic cup in my hotel room. From notes.
A - Poured yellowy light golden with one finger of nice white head. Mild haze. Good carbonation. Good lace spots and a film of retention.
S - Sweet malt, honey, lemon. Pleasant, but lacking.
T - Same. Very little hop character. Mostly sweet malt and lemon.
M - Strong carbonation, slick feeling medium body with a sweet finish.
O/D - While it didn't wow me and wasn't what I was expecting for the style, it was pretty decent. A good intro to craft lagers I guess.

Clear straw with a few fingers of quickly dropping foam. Nose is somewhat fruity, with some herbal and floral notes. Not very flavourful - there's some fruit, apple, grassy hop and a quickly vanishing bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is light-ish, but with some body. Drinkability is OK, though not great. Not too impressed with this one.
