S- WOW this is nice. Yeasty good with grapefruit galore. Good malt

T- Very good. Sour. No malt tones at all. Hops are there

Appearance: colour of mango flesh, with a fine white head that fades to a thin layer after a minute

Aroma: orange, clementine - the sweeter citrus fruits; coriander, very fresh

Taste & Mouthfeel: interesting sour, salty, sweet mash-up, all fighting for attention; lemon, sour green grapes, wheat cracker, and lightly herbal from the coriander; light body and crisp, dry mouthfeel; the lingering tartness has a cleansing feel; it's simple but executed very well, super fresh

Overall: get a sense of purity and cleansing - like this beer is doing something good for you. Certainly doing something good for my tastebuds. Great for summer afternoons

Tap: Poured a cloudy beige color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of salt with light tart wheat malt notes Taste is a mix between some salt notes with light tart wheat notes and some light coriander notes. Body is quite full considering the low ABV with good carbonation. Quite refreshing though maybe a tad too salty for my taste buds.

Poured from a 375ml bottle into a stemmed tulip glass.
Bottled: 2013/05; Poured: 2013/07/30

A: Orangey, straw in color pouring to s short white bubbly head that falls quickly to a thin color. No lacing. Hazy with a touch of sediment which is typical of unfiltered/bottle conditioned brew.

S: A big tart nose with lots of sour notes; some lemon and coriander and maybe a touch grassy.

T: Right from the start you’re hit with the tart sourness (like under-ripe fruit) followed closely by a subtle saltiness. Lots of subtle complexity with lemon and coriander. The finish is long and tart.

M: Light body leaving the palate clean; lots of carbonation making me wonder why the lack of head.

O: Very nice balance of tart sourness and saltiness proving to be an example of the style.

Sampled this at Bières & Saveurs in Chambly.

Body is hazy with the color a cross between peach and lemonade. Bit of a sourish wheat aroma. Flavor is of lemons, tart wheat and ripe peaches. Refreshing and quite good. Hope they bottle this sometime soon.

A: Golden cloudy with almost a green herbal tinge, little carbonation, an off white head that fades relatively fast.

S: Coriander, herbal like sage, sweat, baloney.

T: Salt forward, then a little sour quality, coriander, light smokiness and umami savor in the form of baloney. There is a hint of floral in there as well.

M: Medium light body, medium low carbonation.

O: By far the saltiest gose I’ve had by far, this is unique. Got it in Toronto, drank in New Hamburg, ON, Aug 24th 2014. I think they’ve done a great job. The bottle and label itself are very cool. Relatively light, sessionable beer. Good for a warm day.

Thanks to papat444 for sending this out west for our enjoyment.

A: Rustic in its appearance, pours a cloudy golden wheat with 1 finger of white head that fell away to a thin layer of micro bubbles with scattered lacing along the sides of the glass.

S: Bright acidic scents of lemons and ripe pears with background notes of wheat and bread. Hints of pale malts balance out the acidity. Very inviting and fresh.

T: Upfront taste of tartness of underripe fruits and bright lemons. Floral characteristics are present which were not detected on the scent. Finishes with pale malt notes of biscuit and bready yeast which balances the tartness. Very clean, refreshing and exceptionally balanced.

M: Tart dryness mid palate with chaser of creamy malts on the finish offers a freshment without puckering.

O: Sophisticated balance between tart dryness and maltiness. This is extremely refreshing and expertly balanced. I would love it if this was readily available here in BC as I would want to drink this everyday due to its refreshing nature and low ABV. Hopefully we will soon see a BC brewer take on this style as well as more sessionable low ABV varieties.

Thanks again to papat444 for sending it out.

Appearance: It has a nice merky gold color to it. It has a nice thick off-white head that dies down moderately fast and leaves no lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of tart lemons, coriander, some wheat and a light breadiness.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has sour lemons upfront, some coriander, wheat malts, bready notes and a touch of salt.

Mouthfeel: It has a medium carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.
