Preface: Let me first start by saying this is my first "Gose". I'm not a massive fan of sours thus far and know little and have little of the styles. This is the opinion of a sour noob so don't take it too seriously.

A: A hazy golden color. Moderate head retention but little lacing.

S: Corainder for sure. Some salt as well. Bakers yeast and a touch of tartness. A strange aroma like no other beer I've smelled.

T: Coriander is pretty present coming forward as lemony. A bit of salt in the finish. Slightly bready .The sourness is really what kills it for me. It just seems like spoiled home brew. It's not exactly "sour" per say but more funky and strange tasting. There is a bit of tartness though. The aftertaste makes me want to drain pour honestly.

M: Light bodied with slightly higher carbonation.

O: I'm sorry but maybe Gose just isn't my style. I poured it. I'm sure this is a great example of the style but it's just not for me.

A - Thick, foamy head with large bubbles that dissipates rather quickly. Light straw colour and a little cloudy. No lacing at all.

S - coriander, salt, wheat.

T - Salt and some lemon tartness upfront and then nothing followed with a salty finish. Maybe a little too much salt for my liking.

M - Nice mouth feel. Fairly refreshing beer.

O - A decent attempt at this style.. It's worth trying once but I will not buy it again. I much prefer the Ritterguts Gose.

375 mL bottled 25/03/14 at 40 degrees into standard pint glass
Aroma – faint maybe coriander
Head huge (7 cm), off white, fizzy, rapidly diminishing until stabilizing at a 3 mm layer
Lacing none
Body light yellow, cloudy
Flavor very light; the spiciness comes through initially but quickly fades; no hops, no malt, no alcohol, no diacetyl
Palate light to medium, watery, soft carbonation

Appearance 3.5, Aroma 3.25, Flavor 3.5, Palate 3.5, Overall 3.44. Final weighted score: 3.44
This is a pleasant Gose, very drinkable, and less salty than Westbrook, Anderson Valley, or Leipziger Gose; that may make it more palateable to those who do not like gose-style beers. The appearance and body are typical of goses while the aroma seems a little weak. Still, this is a very pleasant, highly sessionable beer.

Pours a ridiculously cloudy vanilla cake color with a decent frothy beige head that evaporates pretty quickly to a film and then a barely-there ring around the glass. Meh retention; no lacing to speak of.

Fresh and crisp. Spicy, wheat, chalky yeast, white pepper, bubblegum.

Tart and slightly salty. Lime, perrier bubbly crispness.

Thin and light bodied, very refreshing with a slight feel and a quick finish.

Tasty beer.
This is the first Gose that I have ever had so I don't know how good or bad it is in comparison to others (Westbrook's being the only one that springs to mind). But, it is a pretty tasty, well-balanced and ridiculously refreshing beer. Ths saltiness and sour touch go a long ways in playing back and forth with your taste buds, I am now eager to try other Gose's, but don't know that this is one of the best beers I have ever had.
Might be a good bridge for wine (especially white) drinkers that don't like beers. Wait for a hot day and some spicy food.
Might have again; worth a shot if you see it.

Tap: Poured a cloudy beige color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of salt with light tart wheat malt notes Taste is a mix between some salt notes with light tart wheat notes and some light coriander notes. Body is quite full considering the low ABV with good carbonation. Quite refreshing though maybe a tad too salty for my taste buds.

A: Golden cloudy with almost a green herbal tinge, little carbonation, an off white head that fades relatively fast.

S: Coriander, herbal like sage, sweat, baloney.

T: Salt forward, then a little sour quality, coriander, light smokiness and umami savor in the form of baloney. There is a hint of floral in there as well.

M: Medium light body, medium low carbonation.

O: By far the saltiest gose I’ve had by far, this is unique. Got it in Toronto, drank in New Hamburg, ON, Aug 24th 2014. I think they’ve done a great job. The bottle and label itself are very cool. Relatively light, sessionable beer. Good for a warm day.
