Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a generous foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of citrus hoppy notes with nice floral undertones. Taste is also dominated by citrus notes with huge floral undertones and lightly sweet finish. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation. Very nice IIPA with limited residual sugars notes but maybe fell a bit short in highlighting one particular hops by mixing some many together.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a stemmed tulip glass.

Many thanks to Seblp for the bottle!!!

A: A hazy straw color pouring to 2-3 fingers of bubbly head falling quickly to a sudsy collar leaving a bit of lacing.

S: A nice fat hop nose, spicy and peppery with a touch of citrus (oranges and tangerines). I think the hops have fallen off a bit in the bottle with age, but that happens to all beers.

T: Just as the nose suggests, the flavor is a big wack of hops, mostly spicy and peppery, but with some nice pine resin and sweet citrus (oranges and tangerines). The hops are backed nicely by a sweet, but clean, malt profile.

M: Medium high body and medium carbonation; very round and velvety.

O: There is a great hop flavor, but it’s a little light in the nose. Still very smooth and round with great balance. I will look out for this one next year!

Strong citrus aroma, oily yet smooth flavor with mango and pineapple. Bitterness is kept low.

A new brewery only release by L3M. Dry-hopped 4 times, with 8 different hops (Columbus, chinnok, centennial, summit, mandarina bavaria, amarillo, simcoe and mosaic). 130 IBUs. Mostly basic malts. OG 18P, FG 2,8P

Nice golden/orange color, quite opaque

The nose is quite seductive, totally hop forward and really exotic/fruity.

Mouthfeel is quite nice, without having the lush texture of HT. It's bitter, quite bitter, but at the same time really drinkable, and alcool is quite subtle.

Overall, probably the best bottled IPA ever brewed in QC imo.... I prefer it to yakima

A: Golden yellow with a bit of white head, very thin ring of retention shows a little leg.

S: Great hop nose: passion fruit, papaya, mango, candied pineapple, a bit dank with hints of underlying toffee.

T: Lots of tropical fruit up front, with a resiny bitterness in the finish. There's some underlying toffee & hints of biscuit, but this is really about the hops: Mango, pine, papaya, marmalade and hints of steelie grass, spearmint, tangerine & nectarine.

M: Moderate body is resiny with a slight hop acidity and a crisp finish.

O: Great stuff. If you took a Heady Topper, increased the bitterness and ran it through a course filter, this might be what you get. (I just had it back-to-back with Heady Topper).

Huge thanks to Caudalie!

Bottle from Papat444. Many thanks! Bottled either August 12 or 22, hard to read. Fresh in any event.

An absurdly large variety of hops (10!) come together much more nicely than I feared on reading the label. All of the typical IPA flavours are there to some extent: citrus fruit, tropical fruit and a good dose of pine, particularly in the finish. Caramel malts provide a good backbone. Fairly bitter, but not overwhelmingly. This is a big-flavoured DIPA, but it is melded together quite well. Very tasty and I am glad to have been able to try it! Assuming they are able to regularly acquire all the hop varietals required to brew this, it should really become a more regularly appearing beer.

served on tap at La Vestiare.

pours clear straw yellow with a foamy white head. surprised how pale this is - maybe the room was a tad dark.

smells of dank hops, citrus, slgith sweetness, and slight pine. nice smell.

tastes of citrus, slight pine and dank hops, mixed with a nice grassy note on the middle of the tongue. reflects the aroma very nicely. full mouthfeel.

overall, a nice double IPA. well balanced between dank/sweeter notes, not incredibly bitter and very easy drinking.
