On tap at the brewpub.
An outstanding porter, as validated by the two enthusiastic homebrewers with me on this excursion. Has a rich, dark roasted malt flavor with faint smoke but no burnt notes. Lasting roasty aftertaste.

Near black in the glass, it is clear and has a partially durable tan head. Smooth.

Recommended.

On draft at the brewpub BBQ place in A2. Probably GPs best offering. Pours dark brown to black with a small light brown head. Smells of deep coffee, slight chocolate, and some dirt. Taste is a nice balance of rich mocha and bitter hops, with an earthy coffee and hop finish to boot. Pretty robust mouthfeel but goes down unexpectedly easy. This is my go to when we eat here.

A - Nice looking black beer that was mohogany on the edges. Brown head left some nice looking lace behind.

S - Some coffee, cocoa, slight roast. Pretty standard and good stuff for the style

T - There's some good coffee and espresso on this that bring the taste about in a pretty straight forward manner at first. Nicely bitter on the end, with some surpring fruity ethers which give it a very nice touch and a note of complexity.

M - Creamy, lower carbonation, little thin, but not bad.

O - One of the better beers I had here at Grizzly Peak. Went down pretty easily, and it's enjoyable.

Dark, like a porter should be. Thick malty head that stayed throughout the drink
Nice roasted smell, malts, chocolate. A sweet taste, as expected.
Full feel on the mouth, hitting all the taste buds and the beer remained until reinforcement s arrive.
Nice a drinkable. This is a solid porter. Not a standout, but a solid staple by Duncan.

Drank at the brewpub as part of the sampler...A medium brown pour with light tan head...The aroma is nice, tons of super sweet chocolate a little bitterness but not a ton...The taste again is pretty sweet, not badly balanced. The feel is pretty light, but makes it pretty easy to drink.

One of the better Grizzly beers.
