Has a bit of a strange, perfumey, hookah tobacco-like aroma. The taste also has an oddly dry, powdery, candy-like characteristic. Strange beer.

I had this on tap at Hunger N Thirst -served chilled in a snifter.
The color is murky dark burgundy with ruby hues and thin tan head that becomes a ring of beads. The smell is very intense with sour cherry and a wild yeast funkiness with a slight woody accent. The feel is intense as the nose with acidic texture and medium high carbonation with very tart presence all the way through.
The taste is very good but comes off as a little harsh in the acidity at times with some sour fruitiness and light woody element a little tannic with some alcohol showing in the flavor as it gradually warms with a very mild funk adding depth. Overall I enjoyed this but it was not the best Oud Bruin I have had -a bit too acidic and dry could use more malt balance for my taste.
