Had this from a firkin at the opening of Aurants in Duryea. This was a blend of three different wild reds (I believe.)

Dark red color with little/no head. Smells greatly of a barnyard which is a good thing. Taste was superb. Tart / acidic with hints of cherry. Mouthfeel was a bit light due to minimal carbonation but was very good none the less.

I enjoyed this very much. I think I had five of them the entire night. (421 characters)

A-Lightly hazed, deep brownish copper with a hint of bubbly, white film.

S-Oak and light balsamic vinegar. A touch of tart cherry and vanilla.

T-Not as sour as expected with a tart balsamic zip, dry oak and lighter hints of vanilla and cherry. Drying oak finish.

M-Medium-light bodied sharp with mild lingering sourness.

D-Oh yea! A light drinkable and approachable sour. Very similar to it's more famous namesake! A tasty one of a kind one off. Glad I got the chance to try this one...multiple times! Thanks Terry! (519 characters)
