Draft at the brewpub in Williamsport, PA.
Pours a beautiful deep ruby red color with slight tangerine/burnt orange edges and a 1.5 finger, pinkish off-white head that quickly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Ridiculous aroma that's bursting with juicy vinous fruit and a strong red wine barrel presence. Nice toasted oak tannins and subtle vanilla along with very prominent sweet red wine notes. Juicy grapes, sour cherry, strawberry and other dark berries countered by sweaty, earthy funk and musty farmhouse yeast. Plenty of earthy barnyard bugs/wild yeast balancing out the sweeter notes. One of the best smelling beers I've come across.
Sour and puckering with nice acidity but not harsh at all and no acetone/solvency to speak of. Tart yet very refreshing with a strong vinous red wine presence countering the funky bugs and acidic sourness. Dry oaky tannins and vanilla bean followed by strong red wine flavor, grapes, sour cherry, and strawberry and cream. Almost a perfect combination of funky bugs, acidic sourness, oak tannins and sweet red wine notes. Slightly minerally in the finish . Complex, delicious and very easy to drink. One of the best american sours I've had in a long time. Excellent!

Thanks to Frank for this one. 750ml unlabeled corked and caged bottle into a Cantillon balloon. Reviewed from notes.
Color is clear purple. Head is thin and white. Spotty lace with decent stick. Very nice all around.
Nose is raspberry, slightly tart grape skin, sweet fruit, moss, and wood. Pretty mellow with a balanced, subdued funk.
Opens sweet grape and raspberry. Plastic, wood, cobweb and sweet tart fruit in the middle. Tart lemon pucker with hay and cheesiness. Finishes tart raspberry and grape skin. Aftertaste is vinous.
Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively in the mouth and goes down sparkling. Puckering finish with a filmy, sticky aftertaste. Very good.
An awesome beer overall but it's certainly the worst of the bunch when compared to Grrrz and Grrrz Kriek. Still well worth trying though.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bottle #162/353.
Appearance - Pale reddish body. Very small white head. Settles to nothing.
Smell - Quite a complex nose. I guess that's grape. Very fruity. Oaky. Lightly lemony. Yogurt.
Taste - Lots of berry fruit. Sour. Yogurty lactic sour. A little lemony, but then it gets really overwhelmed by oak.
Mouthfeel - Well carbonated. Moderate sourness.
Overall - Remarkably complex flavor profile from an American sour. Just a little too oaky for me.
