I had the pleasure of visiting this brewery w/ the Lancaster Brewer's Club on Saturday March 22nd.

the Atmosphere is very appealing, with copper kettles greeting you as you walk in and jazz flyers in the foyer. They have two World Beer Cup awards for Belgian styles hanging. the bar is nice and long and they have plenty of sunlight/hanging plants creating a very homey feel. I too like the hand carved taps, with Edgar IPA having a very realistic replica of Poe's head.

The food is above average with a pub-style grub. I enjoyed the santa-fe style fajita w/ chicken.

The selection and Quality are the main reason I recommend Bullfrog. Many styles, English, American, Belgian and a wild keg, not to mention specialties like Coffee Cream Stout.

S - The service was top notch, I applaud the hours and kind service we were given in a large group. We were offered directions to our next destination, valuable service in itself. I can't wait to return, Thanks Bullfrog.

I try to stop in here once every few months. It has never dissapointed. The beer, atmosphere, food, and service will continue to draw me in. Don't expect too many typical brews here. They leave ordinary behind. This is one of my favorite places to try sours and really different brews. If your anywhere near this place STOP BY!

Ah, the Bullfrog. Such fond memories for me. It was my hangout back when I was in college up there in Williamsport from '96-'98. The food is fabulous, the beer is consistently good with some real gems, and the place is gorgeous! For being crammed downtown on the main drag, they really did a great job setting the place up. With the big copper tank at the entrance, the gorgeous bar, fermenting tanks visible behind the bar, high ceiling, and relaxed casual atmosphere, it's just a place that I feel comfortable. The food is wonderful, huge selection, and it has everything from unique cuisine to bar food. Then another draw for me was the nightlife. They consistently brought in wonderful unknown bands, lots of jazz. I still listen to my Wayne Horvitz and Zony Mash CD I bought after seeing them for free at the Bullfrog Halloween night '97. Great time! And that's the thing, they'd rarely charge cover, and when they did it would only be like $3 to see an amazing band. I know a lot of the staff left the Bullfrog to come down to my town (State College, PA) and open Otto's, but it was good to see that the Bullfrog is still making tasty brews and excellent food and bringing in the killer jams! One of my favorite brewpubs. If you're ever traveling along I-80 through PA, it's worth the detour to stop in.

Stopped by there today. It has been over a decade, and some parts of the town have really changed.... not the Bullfrog. They did change brewmaster, but they still have great beer! Still a wonderful place!

I stopped by for lunch before a flight out of Williamsport mainly to sample the Veritable Grrrz. The atmosphere is fantastic and the crowd fits well. The beer list had some interesting options but I had to have the Veritable Grrrz and then after rewally enjoying it, another. It was fantastic! I had a burger and fries which were decent but nothing special. I really enjoyed my visit and will certainly go back.
