Took a "quick" detour off of I-80 to stop here for an early dinner. Located in the down town area of Williamsport, this quaint building sits on a corner on the main drag.

The interior is skinny...some seats up front with a long bar lining the left side of the building. Fermenting tanks sit behind the bar and add to the decor. Lots of exposed brick, copper, and dark wood...

The food was good/great with a pretty unique menu. The beer selection was better...great for sure. They had a number of selections...ranging from an APA to a Stout.

Our server was friendly and helpful...nothing to complain about here!

A very cool place that I can see getting very crowded during prime drinking hours. Well worth stopping by for a visit! (735 characters)

The Mighty Bullfrog! Home of the funkiest beers north of the Susquehanna. This is a classic, small-town brewpub. Reminds me of Jackie O's in Athens, Ohio, but dirtier.

It smells like a brewery right as you go past the door. The tanks behind the bar are cool, and there are hippies everywhere. We were there on a Friday night and they had live music. Pretty good band, but kind of annoying too. I'm here for the beer!

10 taps: Baltic Porter with sour cherries, IPA, Stout, Funny Farmhouse Cider, Red Ale, Aggro Wheat, Sacre Blue, Old Gold, Farmhouse Apricot... of course you expect more from this renowned brewery. I guess I wanted to walk in to 25 taps and a million different sours, plus bottles. But... not too bad.

The Old Gold sour was stunning and hit all the right notes.

Will I come back? Yes, next time I am in the area. Would I make a significant detour to visit Bullfrog? Probably not, considering their beers are distributed on draft in Philadelphia... (971 characters)

Great food. Very fair proportions and booming with flavor. A good variety of styles, but some hoppy beers were kicked. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A couple beers were run of the mill, a few were very good, but nothing distasteful. Overall a very cool vibe; sweet custom made bar top earing trays, handcarved tap handles, cool decor / plant life, and crankin dead tunes all day. Great spot. (400 characters)

The exterior is rather unassuming, but the brew kettle is immediately visible to let you know that you have found the right spot. The bar is small, maybe 12 seats, with a full row of fermenters working in the back. I believe I counted 12 taps and there were 9 different beers available during my visit. All beers were available for growler fills. Unfortunately, I do not believe any bottled beers were available for on-site consumption or take out. The food was great, fresh, and very well matched to their beers. The staff were friendly and courteous without becoming over-bearing. (589 characters)

Huge interior with tons of seating. Was here for the Grrrz release so it was a bit of a sh*tshow. Fairly decent number of tap lines, lots of sub-par beers.

Awesome that the owners are cool with opening it up for bottle shares during the Grrrz overnight camp. (260 characters)

I found this place through a happy accident while travelling home from visiting family. There was a live jazz band playing on the particular Sunday I went there. The beers this place brewed were very creative and bold, but well balanced. The bartenders gave nice tastes to help you decide what you wanted to drink. The burger I had was fantastic. I wish this brew pub were in my neighborhood. (397 characters)

Although the selection seemed great. The bartender was extremely difficult when i sent a beer back (which I almost never do). The beer was a saison which is my favourite style and i know it well. I would have been fine to write it off as an end of the keg issue but he he gave me a hard time. There was no head which means no belgian lace, hust a hint of citrus, no spiciness and no carbonation. I wouls have passed it off as one of those things but the bartender daid there was nothing wrong with it. Food was good but the arrogant attitude was too much. (560 characters)

Visited on a Monday afternoon. My wife and I decided to come in because of all the sour/wild beers they had on tap (two Flanders Oud Bruins, two saisons, and even a wild yeast-fermented hard cider). The seafood mac-n-cheese was better than I expected. Can't argue with a beer sampler of seven pours (probably 4-5 oz. each) of any seven beers for $8.50. Our server was generous with providing us samples of the final two beers we hadn't already tried. We're looking forward to going back! (487 characters)
