Large brewery/taproom in downtown section of charming Williamsport PA. Large taproom with lots of table and bar seating, full food venue, live music on weekends, and a hip art theme. Beer selection is diverse with a couple of all of the main styles (including Gueuze) the majority of which range from good to very good. If you’re in the area, you have to stop in.

We arrived at 1515 on a Wednesday, after two doctor appointments, a refreshing stop of two hours at Clyde Peeling’s Reptileland, three hours of driving including an impromptu tour of the one-way streets of south Williamsport, hoping for a good meal. On the street parking only, but there is a parking lot a short block away. The website said they were open until eleven but didn’t say when the kitchen closed. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the host and were offered a choice of high or low tables since my plaintiff whining of “Feed Me” were acknowledged. A few moments after seating, our server appeared and asked about drinks. After examining their beer list, I ordered a Water Tower Cherry sour, and my non-beer-drinking wife ordered an iced tea. They have 14-16 taps, mostly active. The food menu was rather non-descript with the usual beer pub type foods (See website). Overall, a relaxing stop on an otherwise long drive. I ended up drinking three of the Water Towers, unusual since my normal beer consumption when driving is only two with a meal. They also have a reefer where four-packs are available and some shelving with bottles of sours and ciders.

Great service: attentive and knowledgeable about the beer, food and the area. Interesting selection of beer including many sours. Our dinners were good. Solid pub food. Great location as the famous murals are in the parking area behind the brewery.

Cool old corner storefront brewery downtown. Narrow tasting room with bar on the left that seats about 10 and a dozen or so hightops and table opposite the bar. 14 beers on tap and available in bottles, nice variety heavy on the sours. Friendly service and good food.

Gorgeously appointed location in downtown Williamsport, PA. Strangely, as this is the home of Little League Baseball, our visited coincided with the Little League World Series. Stopped in on a Monday afternoon, so it was quiet but still supporting a pretty solid crowd. Outdoor seating for half a dozen, bar seating for 10 or so, table seating for twice that. Great service, great food, and a great vibe. About 20 tap offerings including 3 ciders and a hard root beer. Wish I had had more time to explore.

Located in downtown Williamsport, parking is a little tough as the lot next door is only for a bank. So you need to find street parking in the surrounding blocks. Fairly large inside, setup like a typical brewpub with a bar and then tabling for dining. Had about a dozen beers on tap, then bottles of their sour beers. Good variety.

The Bullfrog was a neat place in Williamsport. It was a fairly large place with plenty of seating. There was a band playing neat jazz music which drew a good crowd. There was brewery equipment throughout. the quality of beer ranged from average to pretty good. The service was great. Bar keep let me try a few. They have over 14 beers on tap for their own. I didn't try the food but heard its so so.

Stopped by on my way back home and was excited to find a brewery along the way. Headed into town and was excited to try out the brews. Had the sampler of the beers that were on tap. Nothing very memorable, all of them pretty much seem to meld together.

One that did stand out was the Blackberry JuJu, had that as my main pint for the evening. The food while looking good was pretty much bland. The onion rings were a bit oily and lacked salt. The pork schnitzel was good but again it lacked salt. The potato pancake that came with the schnitzel good, but lacked salt.

The mac & cheese with bacon was on point and was tasty. The roast beef melt was actually quite tasty so not all the food was bland. Overall, if you're looking to spend money on a local place I say try this place but don't expect a huge wow factor.

Buen Provecho!

This place is our family favorite of all the breweries within 100 miles!! The beer is outstanding to me as they fit my palate well. The Edgar IPA is my favorite of them all!! Of all the brewery's I have been to, to many to count, this IPA is in my top three. The Edgar IPA is equal to Newport Beach Brewery's IPA. Both outstanding!! Food is always good here as they use local grown product for the most part. It is worth the 3hr round trip to visit Bullfrog!! To me, a must stop place for all you hop heads if you are in the area.

The Mighty Bullfrog! Home of the funkiest beers north of the Susquehanna. This is a classic, small-town brewpub. Reminds me of Jackie O's in Athens, Ohio, but dirtier.

It smells like a brewery right as you go past the door. The tanks behind the bar are cool, and there are hippies everywhere. We were there on a Friday night and they had live music. Pretty good band, but kind of annoying too. I'm here for the beer!

10 taps: Baltic Porter with sour cherries, IPA, Stout, Funny Farmhouse Cider, Red Ale, Aggro Wheat, Sacre Blue, Old Gold, Farmhouse Apricot... of course you expect more from this renowned brewery. I guess I wanted to walk in to 25 taps and a million different sours, plus bottles. But... not too bad.

The Old Gold sour was stunning and hit all the right notes.

Will I come back? Yes, next time I am in the area. Would I make a significant detour to visit Bullfrog? Probably not, considering their beers are distributed on draft in Philadelphia...

Great food. Very fair proportions and booming with flavor. A good variety of styles. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A couple beers were run of the mill, a few were very good, but nothing distasteful. Overall a very cool vibe; sweet custom made bar top earing trays, handcarved tap handles, cool decor / plant life, and crankin dead tunes all day. Great spot.

The exterior is rather unassuming, but the brew kettle is immediately visible to let you know that you have found the right spot. The bar is small, maybe 12 seats, with a full row of fermenters working in the back. I believe I counted 12 taps and there were 9 different beers available during my visit. All beers were available for growler fills. Unfortunately, I do not believe any bottled beers were available for on-site consumption or take out. The food was great, fresh, and very well matched to their beers. The staff were friendly and courteous without becoming over-bearing.

Huge interior with tons of seating. Was here for the Grrrz release so it was a bit of a sh*tshow. Fairly decent number of tap lines, lots of sub-par beers.

Awesome that the owners are cool with opening it up for bottle shares during the Grrrz overnight camp.
