Out in Tulsa for a wedding, I decided to hit McNellie's up on the advice of some BA members. My girlfriend and I initially stopped in for just a beer and to look the place over. I had McNellie's Pub Ale and she had a Lindeman's Framboise, The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly.
I didn't do a tap count, but they had a huge rotating selection. The menu also had three pages of bottled beers, along with section of "Flights" for various types of beers. I briefly considered an Oklahoma "flight", but ended up just going with the Pub Ale.
We enjoyed the experience so much we stayed on for dinner. I had a chance to sample the Choc 1919, which was also very good. Our food was exceptional (as pub food goes) and reasonably priced. Overall a great experience that don't cost a fortune.

I've have stopped by this place a couple of times since it is on my way back to see family.
When I have been in it has always been during the lunch rush and it has been full of people each time (downstairs which is non-smoking). The selection of beer is very solid with several taps and a nice selection of bombers. Also has the Marshall Brewing beers that are brewed locally in Tulsa.
I had a grilled chicken sandwich each time and it was good.
The price seems to be reasonable, not high, but not cheap either.

The wife and I went here on our Thanksgiving visit to T-town. I was in Awe at the beer menu and had to order a couple brews unavailable in our area. The waiter was very familiar with all the beers on the menu and especially the local brews from the area. The food was excellent. We had the cheese plate, then I had the cottage pie (shepherd's pie) and a carrot cake. All were excellent. As for the brews, I had a Kwak and a local IPA by Marshall's.
Don't miss if you're in Tulsa. It's the best beer bar/pub they have to offer.

Came up to Tulsa with a friend for a job interview and it took us about 3 hours to find this place (bad directions) but im glad we finally found it. Great selection of beers from all over they also have liquor and wine if your into that, a little pricey on the specialty beers $30 for rogue xs. The service was great. we where the only people there so we sat there for a few hours and had a great time. They have an upstairs for parties i guess, we never ventured up there. overall i would reccomend this pub to anyone

McNellie's is the beerpub to go to in Tulsa, OK. There is no other competiton if a well-rounded beer drinking evening is what you want.
The food menu is good. Pub style munchable's like burgers, chips and salsa, etc. They also have cheese or fruit trays available from time to time. Yes, as it has been stated in several other reviews, the sweet potato fries are indeed quite tasty.
The beer menu is where they truly shine, though. It can almost be said that if it is available in Oklahoma, then it's available here. I've never noticed more than an item or two at a time that wasn't on the menu here. About 60 tap selections available and almost four(4) times that in bottles or cans.
If you're in Tulsa for life or just passing through, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.

Went here for the first annual McNellie's Craft Brew Festival! Kind of on the smallish side, and not anything overly interesting about the setup, but the good selection of brews made up for the lack of space and atmosphere. Didn't have as many brews on tap as I would have wished for, but the bottle selection was pretty good. Had a ton of mugs on the wall with names on them, which I suppose is for those honorable drinkers who have tried 200 different beers. The food was excellent, as was the service. Definitely going back soon. I hear they are going to open one up in OKC, and I can't wait.

This is my favorite bar short of San Antonio. I used to go every Wednesday night on "cheap burger night" with a bunch of co-workers. It is admittedly crowded on those nights, and the service has been up and down.
That being said, I've never been treated poorly there. The beer selection is very diverse, and quite enjoyable.
I ended up there on Thanksgiving one year, and they opened the door an hour early for my buddy, girlfriend, and I. The food is pub food, and it is good. Love the burgers, and the beer special has never once failed to offer something I enjoy.
I even threw a buddy's bachelor party upstairs, it went quite well.
I'm sure the place could be better, but I really don't know where or how I would improve it. The place is absolutely great.

Best beer bar in Oklahoma hands down.
Atmosphere is great. Beer list is outstanding, about 50 on tap and another 250 bottled. They use appropriate glassware, when I ordered a Petrus Dubbel on tap it came in a Petrus goblet! They have pint nights every monday where they feature a certain beer and you get to keep the glass. They run out of things occasionally but being in oklahoma that's no surprise, some of the better brews come into the state in small quantities.
Food is great too. Love the artichoke dip and the sweet potato fries. Burgers are good too. All resonably priced. Beer prices are pretty standard, about twice what you'd pay retail.
Service has been a little spotty. Usually its ok but never has been exceptional. Last time I was there I put a credit card on file to start a tab, but I was going to pay cash. Well the server charged my card without asking how I wanted to pay. Not a huge deal but definitely not proper procedure.
Overall, McNellies is the best place in Tulsa, or Oklahoma as far as I know, to have a beer and a bite. Highly recommended to anyone new to town or passing through.

I love this place. The only bar I care to go to in this town. They offer the best possible selection of beers that are available in this state. The waitresses are usually very helpful, though not always very educated on the beer selection, but I have found that all of the bartenders are great. The short one (you know who you are) can be moody but that is part of his charm. I completely agree that sweet potato fries are outstanding and most of the food follows suit.. The only complaint I have is that I cant get out there often enough.

There isn't a whole lot I can add to the reviews here except that the service is really hit or miss. I love this place. The food and the beer are both great. But, it seems about every other visit the service is horrable.
I once waited 30 minutes after recieve our check for our server to come take my money, only to give up and seek out someone else. The person who I found was the owner. When I asked if he could ring me up because I couldn't find my server, he replyed by joking about how I couldn't see her because of her camo shirt. No appology or anything. I would have given the place up for good had it not been for those damn sweet potato fries. Best things on Earth.
On the other hand, there are a few waitresses who work there that really bust their butts to help you out and I have never had a problem when I sit at the bar. The bartenders are always great.
