I hit this place on Memorial Day weekend. I was impressed, and it was worth the trip out of Manhattan on the L train.
I enjoyed a Sierra Nevada Bitter on Cask (well, actually, I enjoyed two). It can be difficult to locate something other than the pale ale or the celebration, so I was happy to encounter this bitter which I never sampled before .... not to mention finding it on cask. It was like a double-win.
The atmposhere has an antique look to it, and made me feel like I was in a friend neighboorhood bar.
I'm loooking forward to my next trip there.

Great, pretense free neighborhood bar with an ever changing draft list of quality bees and pretty awesome wings. Dark wood and dimly lit like any good bar should be. The pricing is certainly reasonable, especially when compared to some of the other places in Williamsburg.
The bartenders are all friendly and knowledgable. John rules.
