12 ounce bottle

Pours dull and hazy light tangarine, under a moderate off white head.

Super ripe bananas upon the sniff.

More over ripe bananas all over this. Over the top ripeness, makes this go over to the kinda unpleasant side. Sort of an acrid and off putting bitterness in the finish.

One and done here and thankfully I purchased just this singe bottle

Darker than most and lacking the certain depth and softness that marks the style, this beer by contrast is a moderately hazed burnished gold-copper. The head, tinted yellow, is spritzy and falls apart but does leave rings at the edges that drop spotting on the glass.
Clove is prominent on the nose with less accessible notes of overripe banana and dusty earth. It's light and more spicy than anything. While not particularly aromatic or flavorful, and a little heavy-handed for the style, it's very apparent that no adjuncts are used (claims I've heard that seem to evidence bias) and that Belgian yeast was used.
The feel is interesting and seems to be an oxymoron in itself in that it's effervescent while being more medium- than light-bodied. Still, it's a bit too thick without the depth or the rolling softness that marks mastery of the style. It has a crisp bite, which seems to be the focus.

330ml bottle, still with the creepy Dio de Los Muertos imagery, and without much information on the beer herein beyond the name.

This beer pours a hazy, medium golden amber colour, with a teeming tower of puffy, loosely foamy, and weakly bubbly ecru head, which leaves some random landfall lace around the glass as it readily subsides.

It smells of mildly acrid yeast, musty banana chips, bready pale and spicy wheat malt, a further strangely sinful (not in the pleasant way) corn grist astringency, faint and duly muddled savoury spice, and perhaps the suggestion of rubber-booted citrus. The taste is more grainy and semi-sweet wheat malt, a tag-a-long sugary corn character, overripe applesauce, pureed bruised bananas, ethereal clove/coriander spice, a certain hole where I was expecting some corollary table pepper, and a bit of dank wet cardboard.

The bubbles are pretty low-key, and hardly even noticeable at times, the body a decent medium weight, and smooth, I suppose, with a growing clamminess as it warms. It finishes on the sweet side, the various perceived malts employed here running the table, as it were.

While not particularly egregious in its flaws, they are indeed there for all (ok, maybe not all) to see, smell, and taste. Way too sugary (at times from dubious sources), and with a yeastiness that seems to come and go at will - control, people! Anyways, closer to the purported base style than the others from this brewing concern that I've yet tried, which is faint praise, I'm afraid.

Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a dark golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell has some banana and wheat elements to it. Taste is banana, spice, some wheat, refreshing and disappearing quick. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a hazy medium caramel amber with a thin white head. Aroma of wheat, light citrus and banana. Flavor is sweet fruit emphasizing banana flavors, clove with light wheat, finishing with light clove and slight hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with active carbonation. All the hefeweizen flavors are here, but almost opposite of a well balanced beer in that style. The spicing and fruit flavors are dominant with the wheat taking a far back seat. Some of the estery banana flavor seems almost artificial. An adequate, but unbalanced attempt at a hefeweizen. With the traditional classics in this style so readily available and inexpensive, it seems odd to even try to produce a modest example. It went well with lunch, but not a repeat beer.

Immortal Beloved Hefeweizen has a medium, off-white head, a very hazy, opaque, orange appearance, lots of tight little bubble streams, and a decent lacing left behind. The aroma is very strongly of banana, and I was smelling that even before I brought my nose to the glass. The smells are of banana, white wheat bread, a bit of coriander, as the beer warms, and even a touch of lemon. Flavor is of banana, white wheat bread, bread crust, faint coriander, tap water (not unusual for wheat beer), lemon or citrus juice, sugar, and dough. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy and cottony, and Immortal Beloved Hefeweizen finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and quaff-able. Overall, this is excellent, and I strongly recommend it!

Pours crystal clear gold amber color with bubbles racing up the beer to a big foamy 2 finger white head that was full of bubbles and faded slowly, leaving OK lacing. The second swirl of the brew kicked up the yeast which looked like crap floating in a toilet after it poured in.

Smells corn like in a macro lager, caramel, grains, light yeast and cardboard; not what I expected since it looked good, this smells like a Bud or Corona with extra yeast in it and was very disappointing.

Tastes like it smells with corn and malt up front like in a macro lager, light caramel, grains, yeast/cardboard, banana and some other fruit; not as bad as the nose, but this lacked that hefeweizen flavor that I was hoping for. Tastes basically like half a Bud or Corona was poured into a glass with a half a Blue Moon. It has some sweetness, but not enough to make it good.

Mouthfeel is light and on the crisp side, with mild fizzy carbonation and a slightly sweet aftertaste that is grainy with clove trailing off and finishes almost dry.

Great looking artwork and cap, it would be easy to drink if it tasted better but this formula needs help or the brew needs better quality hops and yeast added as it's not that good.

A: Pours a cloudy golden apricot in color with light to moderate amounts of gentle visible carbonation along the edges of the glass and some peach + golden yellow + burnt orange highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a slightly thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of overripe bananas with moderate aromas of lemon citrus and moderate aromas of clove. There is a light note of wheat underneath.

T: Upfront there is the lightest hint of wheat but that is quickly overtaken by moderate to strong flavors of overripe and slightly bruised bananas (you know the ones that are just about to turn and only be good for making banana bread). There are some light to moderate flavors of lemon citrus and moderate to strong flavors of clove.

M: On the lighter side of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Kind of creamy.

O: This one is pretty easy to drink but might be a touch too sweet with the overripe/bruised banana flavors and aromas. Refreshing and certainly sessionable.
