Deep red/brown color with quickly diminishing head and no lacing
Slight medicinal/alcohol mixed with sweet prune/plum aroma
Very thin mouth feel and prune flavor, not really malty but sweet and sugary.
I feel this beer should be defined by its malt profile, but rather it lacks any real malt presence. It is thin, sweet and one dimensional

interesting for sure, although exactly the way the guy below said: "one note and simple". it definitely hides the 7% which is difficult for an 'amber lager' but not a memorable brew at all.... looks great on the pour though!

Bottle purchased at Forum hypermarket in Lviv, Ukraine. Review from notes taken Spring 2016.

6.80% ABV. Best before: 18.08.16. Brewed with Northern Brewer, Spalter Select, and Hersbrucker hops.

Bottle is 500ml format, with a branded pry-off crown cap and a gold colour label.

APPEARANCE: ~7cm wide head of pale khaki colour. Thin, fizzy, weak. Takes ~3 minutes to recede, leaving no lacing.

Body is a clear copper with faint amber hues. No yeast can be seen within.

AROMA: Amber malts. Yeast profile is clean and ester-free, indicative of lager yeast. Buried faint toastiness.

Aromatic intensity is average.

Suggests a shallow brew with balance but no complexity or subtlety.

TASTE & TEXTURE: Amber malts and...okay, well, that's it, actually. Maybe a blip of toastiness towards the climax.

Mouthfeel is subtly coarse, but wet enough to keep it refreshing. Medium-bodied, slightly sticky, a tad syrupy.

There's no harmony of texture and taste. The build isn't gestalt. Balance isn't even a factor here since it's so one-note.

I don't dislike it, but its painful simplicity and shallowness limit its enjoyability.

OVERALL: A drinkable albeit forgettable and unremarkable brew that hides its ABV well but offers little to entice the discerning drinker. In terms of casual Ukrainian beers, you could do worse. But this is far from extraordinary.

Got this at the supermarket today here in Podil, Kyiiv. Poured it at a good temperature with a fizzy, foamy, light tan head and teensy bit a lace. Color is a clear brown red with some bubble trails. Aroma is the best thing here: malt, wet grain, very ripe fruit. Flavor is massively candy sweet balanced with some carbonic tang and bare hint of bitter. Body is dominated by the sweetness, so while density is a weird syrupy water, fizzy carbonaton adds another less than pleasant twist. Finish is like flavor, mainly sweet with a little bite left from tang and some alcohol warmth. Last of these I’m having

"Avtors'ke" means "Authors" in Ukrainian. Enjoyed alongside some pelmenis with butter.

A: Poured into a pub glass. Initially there was a thick, off-white rocky head. It quickly disappeared leaving nothing. No lacing. No head retention. Color is a deep reddish-brown, with rich hues of garnet towards the edge of the glass.

S: Faint. Almost nothing except for what seems to be sweet malt and maybe banana.

T: Immediate presence of alcohol warmth. It's not off-putting, but rather nice. Caramel malts and cola-like flavors that finish with that hint of banana. Not much hop presence at all. Just light sweetness. Rich and good.

M: Pretty moderately carbonated. Enough body to compliment the maltiness. Easy to drink, mind the presence of alcohol.

O: I've been searching around Ukraine trying to find the best beer. Most everything is garbage commercial light lagers with no taste and certainly nothing to write about. PPB is the best brewery in Ukraine. And Avtors'ke is my favorite so far. It has what the others don't: flavor. This is a good beer and fantastic for Ukraine standards.

Two fingers of khaki foam that slowly recede to a thin broken skim across the surface. Attractive dark reddish copper color. When backlit it shows a sharp clarity with some caramel coloration. Languid slow moving carbonation trails.

Husky grains, toasty, a bit floral, slight malt sweetness.

Substantial feel and taste, mild caramel, toasted specialty malt, lingering dry aftertaste with very little bitterness. Caramelized sugars, toasty, some cola spice. Light to medium bodied, with mellow carbonation, though it suits the style well in this case. Slightly watery I suppose towards the end of the glass, it starts losing carbonation like all the PPB beers so far. Bigger on flavor than the rest, easily sessionable. Would buy this again.

Brewed by brewer Andriy Matsola.
Pours reddish-brown/amber beer with tan liquid low-resistant head. Sweet malt and alcohol in elusive aroma. Yeah, there are no apricot and disinsectant tints in this one (as in other beers of this brewery). Sweet malt, chemicals, plenty of alcohol in taste. Much better than others, but still mediocre beer from Persha.
