Prety average irish pub but they have something into it. Location is good - right downtown Victoria with lot's of gift shops around, which is really good for visitors like us. They have pretty decent local beers selection the best part of it was the vancouver island sample tray with 4 beers from two island breweries. Beer was pretty good, especially the dark lager. We didn't have any food there, but menu looked allright. Also they had a live music.
Not bad place at all, but definately not my first destination in Victoria.

My wife and I walked in randomly during lunch time. Lots of beers on tap and this is a true Irish pub with the typical Irish music playing in the background. Our waitress was extremely friendly and and food was pretty good. I got a chance to try the Fat Tug IPA for the first time here.

A: Wonderful Irish atmosphere. We were seated in the library room, which is perfect for me. Game of rugby on the television. The bar is really neat. A really cool place.
Q: Everything was great. The beer, the food, the service. I would definitely say this is a high quality place.
S: Our waitress was really nice, very punctual, always asking if we needed more beer or helping us make our decisions about food and drinks. And when she found it we were there on our honeymoon she asked us all kinds of questions about the wedding and our relationship. Really great.
Selection: Great selection of both American and Irish dishes. The beer selection is great as well, lots of local offerings on tap as well as imports.
F: My fish and chips was great, and my wife loved her lamb shank.
We really loved this place. Came back a couple of times just for some whiskey and other drinks. This was one of our favorite places while visiting Victoria, along with the Bard and Banker.
