A: Pours a dark caramel almost amber colored with a slightly dark beige head of foam on top. Hazy brew -- can't see through. There is some bubble action going on in the body. Looks rich, hearty almost. Nice complexity. Good looking brew.
S: Smells of vanilla and rich malts. Smell like oak. Some rich cherry smells in there too. There's some booziness in there too, but I think it works in this case. You've got some toffee aromas too. Nice smelling brew.
T: Such a wonderful brew. Full of spice and vanilla and toffee and richness. Really falling in love with Old Ales. This compares very well to Old Curmudgeon Ale. This may be slightly better. Wonderful tasting beer. These brew taste almost like they've beer aged in bourbon barrels, but they haven't.
M: Wonderful carbonation. Medium to heavy body. Smooth and creamy. Gentle on the mouth. Warm going down with no boozy feeling. Velvety feel. No issues here.
O: Love Old Ales and this brew is no exception. Simply fantastic.
