A - Poured into a snifter - Reddish amber with a slight haze - looks magnificent when back lit. Initial pours leaves a thin cap of head, that disappears quickly. Faint spotting of head lace the glass and quickly vanish after each sip.
S - Raisins, brandy, alcohol, fruity, plums, malts, caramel. Nice aroma to this brew - each time I put my nose to the glass, I pulled something different.
T - Big fruity punch to start -plums, raisins, figs, followed by the big malty backbone - caramel, vanilla and then finishes with a warming boozy alcohol (brandy, bourbon, scotch? ).
O - This is a complex and very unique brew. I purchased two with the intent of aging one, but I will go back to get a few more years worth of reviewing.
