A- Cola brown with a tan froth.
S- I almost had to give this a slightly lower rating on the smell since it is really pretty light on aroma, but small amount of sweet candy molasses that is there is good.
T- Taste is all on the back end. Starts real plain almost water like but has a nice sweet alcohol finish.
MO-Thick creamy feel. Overall a real good high abv beer. I'll try this one again.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass.

Slightly hazy red. Red is the only way to describe it. Foamy tannish white cap dissipates to a ring that laces through the glass as the liquid goes down.

Smells like a Belgian yeast took a dump in it. That's a good thing. Tons of sweet dried fruit esters in the nose, toffee and a hint of clove or allspice-like spice.

Taste follows suit, lending itself more to the roasty malt background than those estery yeasties. Still that Belgian yeast strain shines through. Little to no hop characteristic.

Mouthfeel isnt anything special but isn't flawed. Good carbonation, sits on the tongue nicely.

Overall, I gotta disagree with the brothers about this. Really? They gave it a C? This is a showcase of an American Belgian style strong dark ale. They should get their pallets checked out.
