Tasted April 15th 2011 (from notes)
Poured into a New Belgium snifter
A - Cloudy copper/orange, one finger white head, and some decent lacing
S - Earthy hops, pine and citrus as well. Nice bitter sweet malt. A nice yeast strain and some sort of pungent smell
T - Toasted grain, earthy, malt, strong pungent hops. Hops taste nice and fresh. Very acidic hops. Tastes of roots
M - Very carbonated, very acidic, long finish. The carbonation is almost bubbly feeling
D - Easy drinking for the description, but still a bigger IPA for being only 6.5 ABV
Final thought - Worth a try, but not worth a six pack. Love to try this on tap
Serving type: bottle
