I think I am being kind when I say that this is the worst APA. It looks OK, but it ends there. It has as the taste of a .... nothing. It is completely bland.

There is almost no hops, malt or yeast taste. It makes me think that I got a bad bottle, but that would at least empart a bad taste. It is one to be avoided.

Poured from a bottle into a tumbler pint, the beer is a bright, vibrant, copper-yellow coloring with a thin, white, filmy coating. Aromas of bright, citrus blending with a hoppy and roasted caramel overtone. Flavors are extremely tart and peppery, with a sharpness due to the lighter body and the increased carbonation. Roasty toasty backbone with a slightly tangy and syrupy sweet highlight throughout, and peppery and dark hops overshadowing everything. The aftertaste is mostly tang, with sharpness cleaning the palate for a quick, mostly clean finish.

Pours a dark, hazy orange with a quarter of an inch of soft, foamy, white head that has great retention. The nose is extremely faint; light bread, light citrus. The flavor is lightly malty with a big fruity, sweet, citrusy hop character. The hops give notes of mango, grapefruit, lemon, and orange. There is a very faint bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, smooth, but a little heavily carbonated.

This is a solid beer. It's drinkable and enjoyable, but it isn't outstanding in anyway. The flavor is a little fruity and sweet for my liking and the malt character is also a bit subdued. I would however have it again if offered.

First had: bottle traded with a coworker

Poured into a pint glass, a hazy copper-brown with a small, fizzy, white head that dissipated quite a bit, leaving a little soapy lacing on the glass. Sweet aroma, quite nice, biscuity, caramel, and opposed to some reviews I've seen, the hops are more in the distance it seems; I get caramel predominantly. Taste is pretty good as well, very bitter up front, woody, leafy, then heavy with caramel sweetness, malty, with pithy citrus bitterness, and some herbal and piney hop qualities leaving a very dry and bitter finish. Medium body, pretty interesting overall, and decently drinkable.

Bottle from The Wine Seller in A2. Pours a hazy light golden color, lots of bubbles, and a small white head. The aroma is strong straw and hay, rather dry, and what seems like no malt backbone for sweetness. The flavor follows with dry stale hops, very little malts, watered down, and an unpleasant finish. I suppose I got a bad bottle here, as there is some serious funk going on in this. Maybe I'll try again later, but this was not good.
