I love this beer. We really have waaaay too few beers to satisfy hop heads in Alabama. The ABV limit keeps out 100% of double/imperial IPAs, and even quite a few "normal" IPAs. The best hoppy beer we had in state was Sweetwater IPA, recently pulled because the ABC was tipped off that it's 6.5%.
Anyway, this beer is a hoppy refuge around here. It's hoppier than any English IPA, and even hoppier than Flying Dog Snake Dog and probably a couple other IPAs in state.
It's not straightforward Cascade like your typical SNPA. This one has a little more going on, and also runs a little more caramel sweet.
