A - pretty much red, slight haze, light tan head leaves chunks of sticky lace.
S - fresh grapefruit nose, no detectable malt, but it might be lending some sweetness to the grapefruit aroma
T - well rounded malt sweetness, nicely balanced by more of that fresh grapefruit character. Malty finish, but enough hops linger to keep things dry.
M - med body, med-low carbonation. Soft mouthfeel works well with gentle sweetness.
D - well balanced, easy drinking, very sessionable.
Rides a fine line between approachable and something more challenging, which is exactly what I think of with this style. I could easily bring a 6-pack of this to a party and enjoy it all night. Amazing balance; it's hoppy, but not too bitter, and malty, but not too sweet. More hop character than most Canadian IPAs, and better too!
